Heavy Rain and Projects Nearly Complete.

Our Location today is at Windsor, Ontario.

We were up shortly after 8:00 this morning but it was already too late. Looking outside the Balcony Door and seeing the large water Puddles in the parking lot meant we’d be spending most of our day inside.

Thinking we’d be a little more active today we had Cereal for breakfast then we brought our Coffee/Tea over to the Computers. We had some interruptions when the Rain was actually being driven against the Windows. That only made us feel more like we should make it a Two Cup Morning. It was nice catching up with what our friends are doing in the southwest this Winter.

Once the inside chores were finished it was time to eat. We had Grilled Cheese Sandwiches for lunch along with a Chocolate Pudding Cup for dessert as well as a cup of Tea.
This is not Fog but heavy Rain.
Looking outside the weather hadn’t improved any at all. The Rain was coming down with so much intensity that it looked like a heavy Fog had set in.

Since I still had my tools in the Storage Room I set about installing the Lights under the Cupboards. I needed to clear the top of the Counters so there was room to mount the clips. With the LED Light Strips having such short cords they were installed near the Microwave. That did require me using some of the Wire Clips meant for another project. Kathy liked the way they turned out.

After putting everything back on that Counter I continued installing the Halogen Lights over by the Sink. They use more electricity but since we had them in our other Apartment we’ll use them here. It was a little tricky to install the Screws in exactly the right spots but I managed. The only problem we had was I used some of the Wire Clips on the LED Light Strips and the Rain was still coming down so that will wait until tomorrow.

The next thing I needed to complete was the Data Entries on our Expenditure Spreadsheet. Something got in the way a few times this week so today was perfect to finish that chore.

Kathy made Macaroni and Cheese for supper along with a Chocolate Pudding Cup for dessert. We then watched more Hallmark Christmas Movies that we had missed. Of course when we went to watch our 11 o’clock Local News it was preempted with a Football Game. Something else we’ll have to do tomorrow. Thank you for following along and feel free to leave a comment.
Be Safe and Enjoy!

It’s about time.

The holidays have been lovely but now I have to scream.

  1. I have chocolate pudding cups for desert most nights smothered in whipcream. Love it. You must be pretty handy Rick. Me and water or electricity never get along.

  2. Whoa that's a lot of rain!! At least it's not snow! Nice to get those lights installed. I love my under-the-counter lights.

  5. I like the view over your balcony. Sure gives us a sense of what you are looking at every day.
I guess rain is a better alternative to heavy snow. Sun would be an even better alternative. But we don't get to choose our weather.

Under the counter lights would be wonderful. At least it is rain and not snow.
