With all the physical work that we did yesterday neither Kathy or I had any problems sleeping last night. As a fact we both seemed to struggle waking up. It was 8:00 by the time I got in the kitchen this morning getting things ready for breakfast after opening the Window Shades. Looking outside there were barely any Clouds so we thought for certain it would be a scorcher.

I headed to my Computer to check The Weather Network and wasn’t surprised to see quite a few changes to the Seven Day Forecast. With the number of Hurricanes heading towards North America it had to happen.

After breakfast I took the time to pay our Verizon account even though it was a low amount we still don’t want them tacking on a Late Fee.

We had Tomato Rice Soup along with Cheese on Crackers for an early lunch. Our plan was to head to Windsor to run some errands but looking outside suddenly there were dark Clouds filling the entire sky to the south. As we drove north it looked like we were being chased.

We arrived at Guardian Storage by 12:30 where we collected our Mail before returning our Carpet Cleaner to our Climate Controlled Storage Unit.

By the time we drove across town to the Windsor Rehabilitation Center it was already 1:00. We found Vera lying in bed engrossed in one of the many books that she has to read. She would normally be sitting in her chair but was having a problem with her Knee. The day she injured herself the only things the Doctors were concerned about were the broken bones in her Wrist and her Ankle because they could see them on an X-ray. She had told them about the pain in her right Knee thinking she may have twisted it but they seem to ignore it. A C.A.T. Scan would later show a Soft Tissue Injury but the Doctor still hasn’t done anything for her. She now has more tests scheduled by her Nurse/Practitioner to help deal with her Knee.

While Kathy and Vera spoke about what we did yesterday, she had me setting up a Shortcut to our Blog on her Apple Tablet. Never having really worked on an Apple was a lot different then our Windows Computers. I finally was able to load a Google Ap that is now set for her to access our Blog. We stayed a little longer than normal and Vera was enjoying the visit but like Kathy said we didn’t want to tire her out.

It was nearly 5:00 when we arrived at the west end Wendy’s. Our lunch was long gone so we figured our usual meal would do just fine. Their .99 cent Frosties were a limited time offer that had finally come to an end so instead our meal cost us $9.22 today. That’s a whole $2.03 more than last week. Talk about inflation.
Kathy noticed the colour of these trees is already changing and thinning.
We made a stop at Dollarama where we picked up some supplies we were running low on. If we had gotten that stuff anywhere else it would have cost a lot more. The Clarifier I use on my hair is $4.00 a bottle there and at Walmart the same product in the same bottle is over $7.00.

Our next stop was at the Zehrs Super Store where we replenished the Fruits, Vegetables and other Food Stocks we have been using up. When we came outside it looked like the Sun had already set and we’d be getting Rain at any moment.

We arrived Home close to 7:00 and after getting everything inside, were busy putting things away for quite some time. We finally relaxed enough to not only to take our suppertime Meds but to take care of our overdo Eyedrops.

With plans for tomorrow and the changing weather it looks like it will be Friday before I get back to cleaning the other Two Thirds of the Trailer. Thank you for following along and feel free to leave a comment.
Be Safe and Enjoy!
