Getting Things Packed On a Drizzly Day.

Our Location today is at McGregor, Ontario, Canada.

We turned the Blue Flame Heater down to Pilot for the night before going to bed. According to the Weather Guessers the temperature would rise throughout the night. It was so comfortable at one point, we even rolled the Bedcover down but by morning had it pulled back up to our necks because the temperature had dropped again. When we did get up it was still raining but only a lite Drizzle not the hard Rain we had yesterday and a very lite breeze. Inside the Trailer was comfortable enough just wearing our Housecoats without turning on the Heater.
Yesterday's picture was brighter then today.
Once breakfast was over we once again brought our Coffee/Tea over to the Computers. Even after having a second cup I had already made the Bed and started getting things set up to do our Doucettes. By doing them for Forty-Five Days at a time means that I’m not always tied down doing them on a Saturday evening. By noon I had finished Kathy’s Meds and Vitamins.

For lunch Kathy made up Chicken Salad Wraps with Tomatoes and Coleslaw for sides. She also used up the last of the Strawberries before they could go bad. Better in our tummies then in the trash.

It didn’t take long afterwards to fill my Doucettes with all my Vitamins but it would take another Hour to finish up. For years many have complained about Product Overpackaging. When it comes to Vitamins they come in containers that are used for many different tablets that the manufacturer simply changed the labels on. When traveling in an RV space is at a premium so I cut back on the number of Containers by simply topping them up. One Vitamin went from Seven Bottles down to Three.

Once everything was cleaned up and I’d taken the Containers out for Recycling, Kathy had me chop in half and clean an Acorn Squash that she was about to cook for our supper along with Coleslaw and Peppers for sides. I also put on my Raincoat to go out and warm up some Pre-Cooked Spareribs on the Weber. It was still drizzling so I simply would step under the Gazebo while the Ribs cooked. Everything tasted wonderful and we could cut the meat off the ribs with our Forks.

After we washed the dishes we settled in to watch “Born To Win” with George Segal. It was about the life of a Drug Addict back in the 60’s in New York and how the Police as well as the Drug Dealers took advantage of them. Glad we’re not tangled up in that world.
The Sun peeked out for a few seconds.
The Drizzle finally stopped just on time for the Sun to peek through the Clouds just as it was setting. With the forecast showing a good change to our weather I’ll be busy outside tomorrow. Thank you for following along and feel free to leave a comment.
Be Safe and Enjoy!

  3. At the risk of sounding dumb, what is a doucette. I can't find it in the dictionary. I have a feeling it's the plastic things that have days and morning/evening and you put each pill in?
