Since
I didn’t take anything to help me sleep last night, I tried staying in bed
later this morning. When 7:30 rolled around it was time to start my day. Kathy joined
me at 8:00 and it didn’t take long to have breakfast, do our Eyedrops and sit
at the Computers.
By
9:00 the Humidex was already at the Century Mark with the high forecasted
to be 109 F (43 C). With that kind of mixture, the Warning for Severe Thunderstorms was also posted.
By 9:30
we both had chores that needed to be done so we got an early start. I walked
the recycle down to the Park Trash and Recycle Area before heading back Home. There was a steady stream of RVs pulling out from the Transient
Camping Sites
as most would be
heading back to work and some to school tomorrow.
I
spent time cleaning out the Truck so
that when it goes to the shop this week I’ll have everything here that I might
need for projects. Kathy was busy vacuuming the inside the Trailer upset with herself for not doing it while she was
recovering from her Eye Surgery.
By
10:45 we were both sitting back at our Computers
trying to Cool Down. That’s when I
spotted someone’s picture saying that just seeing this made them feel cooler.
Kathy
made us Chicken Sandwiches on English Muffins along with some Greek Pasta Salad for lunch topped off
with Pineapple and Grapes for dessert. Healthy and not
overly filling.
We
had barely finished eating when the Wind
picked up and the Sky started to
get dark. Soon after the sound of Thunder was growing stronger and
finally by 1:30 the Rain started
coming down. It wasn’t as intense as yesterday and by 2:00 the Sky started to clear slightly. The
temperature dropped very little but with the added Humidity it started feeling warmer.
When
it came time for supper Kathy had me chopping vegetables that she used to make Homemade Spaghetti Sauce for tomorrow.
Then I went outside to grill a nice Salmon
Fillet and a couple of Zucchini
on our Weber. Inside Kathy was
making Mashed Sweet Potatoes as a
side as well as Homemade Tartar Sauce.
It all tasted great and was very satisfying. I had just finished outside when
it started Raining again. At least
there was no Thunder with this last Cell.
We’ve
mentioned how we watch movies that we purchase On Sale at prices that are much lower than just One of us going to the theater. Some
have Two movies so that is a better
deal. Recently we purchased one that has Eight
movies on Two DVDs and they are all
around Two Hours long. That’s really
getting our money’s worth. Tonight, we watched “Forever Mine” which was about Obsession
and Jealousy. This one kept our
attention.
Hopefully
we can get the Truck into the shop
tomorrow and it’s a simple fix. The Temperature
will be a shade cooler so we see what else we get into. Thank you for following along and feel free
to leave a comment. Be Safe and Enjoy!
It’s about time.
