Getting More Accomplished

Our Location today is at McGregor, Ontario, Canada.

Since yesterday was still on the cool side we just kept the Windows shut when we went to bed last night. It felt comfortable when I got up at 7:30 and when I started opening the Window Shades there was a treat in store for me. The Sun was finally making an appearance after not showing itself for the last Three Days.
The Clouds slowly breaking at 7:30 this morning.
As soon as I set things up for Breakfast I turned my Computer on and checked The Weather Network for the local forecast. It had really changed since yesterday. Gone was the chance of Showers and the high Humidex days are not as bad. Looking beyond this week is telling me that this warm spell could be what we refer to as our Indian Summer which normally happens near the end of the month. If that is ahead of schedule then chances are so will Winter. Already the Prairie Provinces are receiving the dreadful White Stuff that many of us try to avoid by heading south but things can also change due to the Hurricanes that are heading for the US at this time.

Once we’d finished breakfast and our Two Cup time On-Line we started getting ready to do our other chores. After opening all the Windows and Roof Vents Kathy was planning on shampooing all the Carpets in the Trailer. My plans now that the Ten Pound Limit and Bending Over Restrictions have been lifted, was to start scrubbing down the exterior of the Trailer.

Before we started any of that Kathy made us each a Toasted Bacon, Tomato with Cheese Sandwich to go with the Coleslaw and Olive sides. No use getting started on something then having to stop. We would both wear off this entire meal. Kathy with her bending over and using the Hand-Attachment to clean where the power-head couldn’t be used and myself balancing on a step ladder while scrubbing off the Bug Smears and Bird Droppings from earlier this year.

By 5:00 Kathy had completed her task, though she was aching from the exertion she did a job she was proud of. Myself I only accomplished about a third of my task partly because of the change of the Wind blowing the spray everywhere but where I wanted. I was happy to see the Shine back on the front and rear of the Trailer along with areas on the sides. I’ll just have to complete it when the weather allows and when I have time between errands.
Lots of scrubbing to get the shine back.
With the inside of the Trailer being slightly disorganized Kathy was happy to let me grill a Pizza on our Weber for supper.

Tomorrow we have some things to take care of so we’ll see what else we can do in preparation for our departure in November. Thank you for following along and feel free to leave a comment.
Be Safe and Enjoy!

  3. I think we all have rigs to wash. Ours takes a bit more prep having to fill the water bladder and run it through the pressure washer. No hose up here! Bill will get it done later in September, early October. Nice 1/3 job!
We will also be shampooing our carpets before we head south.

  4. When I was able I used to use “The Solution” waterless wash when in a campground. At home I would do one side a day. It’s great stuff, especially in parks where they don’t allow washing. It helped make the annual full detail easier.
