Got My Walking Papers.

Our Location today is Windsor, Ontario.

Last night was a repeat of Wednesday, where I went to bed later and was awake before 7:00 this morning. I think I might have just found the reason why I was having trouble to sleep. Stay Tuned.

I waited to wake Kathy, because she does need more sleep than me, but early enough that we had time to enjoy our Coffees before heading out the door. It wasn’t until we reached the Car that the Sun would peek through the Clouds once in a while.

We were only Fifteen Minutes early for my appointment at Advanced Rehabilitation Center, but it did not stop them from bringing me in early. After getting Iced down, then starting my Exercises, the Physiotherapist came over to talk. She had been observing my movements and then tested the strength in my leg. Finally, she asked a serious question, “Do you think you can continue doing the Exercises on your own at home”? I was given my Walking Papers and can now do this without having to go there to do them.

We headed over to Windsor Gas and Diesel to settle our tab. Jim had brought in his Wife in, to help get his Filing fixed up. I had told him before, I didn’t want to be owing money that he probably needed for his business. He appreciated my patience and honesty.

It was nearly 12:30 when we walked into The Backroad Cafe to have lunch. We managed to snag a freshly vacated table but could not sit until the waitress finished cleaning. We made the mistake of ordering their delicious Halibut Fish and Chip dinner for lunch. We ended up taking half of it home, making it well worth the price.

Even though we had just gotten our Mail, we again stopped at Guardian Storage to collect even more of it today.

It was early and we were feeling full from our lunch, so we stopped at Walmart to get some walking exercise in. Kathy normally did this on her own when I was working, but today kept making certain that I was okay, instead of her own wellbeing. I finally found her a Nightgown that had her smiling, it said “Nappy Time”. We also picked up a few canned goods to add to our Pantry.

Remember how filling our lunch was? It was past 8:00 this evening when we shared a piece of Cake as our meal, and to open the space in the Fridge for more nutritious food.

We watched a Hallmark Christmas Special this evening.
