No Cancer and Costs.

Our Location today is Windsor, Ontario.

Last night was another one where I slept but Kathy had a tough time. Normally, that happens because I am tossing and turning, which continually wakes her up. I was up by 7:10 and had barely gotten things ready for breakfast when Kathy came out to join me.

Looking out the Balcony Door had her squinting because of the lack of Clouds and the Sun filling our living space. I made certain the Bananas were not going to waste by making Banana Pancakes for our breakfast.

We did as much as we could on the Computers, before having Split Pea Soup for lunch. With an afternoon appointment, we didn’t want to fill up on too much liquid.

We took Riverside Drive across the City until we took Howard Avenue to our destination. Kathy had an appointment with a Dermatologist. She has been careful to not be overly exposed to the Sun, but she has been getting more dark spots over the last few years. After consulting with our Family Doctor, she was here to see someone who specializes in this.

We might have sat in the waiting room for Two Minutes while her Medical Insurance was processed. From there we were brought to an exam room, where the Nurse barely left the room and the Specialist was walking in. After finding out what was concerning Kathy she used a Blue Light Magnifying System and checked Kathy from every angle. When she said “There’s no signs of anything Cancerous”, we both breathed a big sigh of relief. By the time we got back to our Car, her appointment had taken less than Ten Minutes.

With time on our hands we drove to Walker Road where I went to look around Princess Auto, while Kathy went next door to Michael’s before joining me. Seeing that they finally restocked the Marker Lights that I use on the Truck, I restocked my supply, especially when they were on special for Three Dollars each.

As we were heading to Guardian Storage to collect our Mail, Kathy suddenly felt hungry. I did the only thing possible and stopped at the nearest Tim Hortons where we both had a Chicken Wrap and Coffee for an early supper.

When we got back home the only thing we needed to do was take evening pills and have a couple of Cookies for our dessert.

In answer to a couple of Comments. Most times we do our Laundry every Two Weeks and average Six Loads of Wash each time. By the time I play my games with the Dryers that adds up to $42.00 a month for our Laundry.

Someone mentioned I don’t post much on Facebook. I started that account when we decided to sell our Eagle Supreme. The only thing that did was cause frustrations. We finally sold it to Jim and Lorraine, who saw it when leaving their storage unit. While I was working there was no time, even now with the Blog and Appointments, I seldom go on. If I do go on, I’m mostly checking what our kids are up to.

We are expecting Wet Weather tomorrow so I might get other things caught up.

Krackers

It's not an optical illusion.

It just looks like one.

  1. Kathy must feel so much better knowing that the dark spots are not cancerous. Btw, that is a lot of money spent on laundry. Too bad you cannot have a w/d in your apartment.
