On Strike and Supplies.

Our Location today is Windsor, Ontario.

I thought that I’d had a restful night’s sleep when I started my day at 6:50 this morning. Again I got things ready for breakfast before sitting down at my Computer. Today I started by reading the Blogs we follow before starting with the other correspondents. It was 9:00 when Kathy came out to join me. She said she kept waking up every time that I tossed or turned, that I didn’t recall any of.

Once we were finished our Tea and morning reading it wasn’t long before we got ready to leave. First we had to check what Food Stocks we would need to replenish before heading out.

Though it was chilly the Wind was very lite. Our high would later reach 52 F (11 C). The first stop we made was A&W to have lunch. We took advantage of their Mama Burgers being on sale. Though I didn’t mention it before, any time we have Coupons the savings are noticeable, but when you refer to the Billboard Sales, it seems they find ways to charge close to full price. That does not just apply to this Chain but all of them.

The other day when I went to Princess Auto, I had forgotten to bring my Shopping List of things to check out. At home I had found the Rubberized Roof Sealant was advertised at a very reasonable price. When I actually found the product today, it was no bargain. The picture showed what appeared to be a Gallon can (3.785 Litres), but the fine print showed it was only a Quart sized container (946 ml). I still found something that came home with us.

Leaving there we drove by the local Canada Post Distribution Office. As of midnight, this morning, the Unionized Workforce was “On Strike”. It’s been nearly Two Years that they have been working without a Contract, and they are barely making a Living Wage. That’s our Canadian Government for you. We stopped at Guardian Storage to pick up the last bit of Mail we’ll have until the Strike is settled.

Our next couple of stops were Dollarama and Zehr’s grocery store to get the supplies we needed.

We definitely needed our Folding Two Wheeled Shopping Cart to get everything upstairs.

After everything was put away, we turned the Television on for background noise while we got back on our Computers. It seemed that my eyes blinked again, and the Clock jumped by Twenty Minutes.

We shared a Store-Bought Thin-Crust Medium Pizza for supper that I added fresh Mushroom slices and extra Mozzarella cheese to, while we watched the 6 o’clock Local News. Even though we are experiencing above seasonal temperatures, it is cooling off considerably. The Weather Guesser even mentioned that four letter Sxxw word.

We watched some US News before switching over to a Hallmark Christmas Movie for the evening.
