Same Stuff, different Night and I spent most of the night staring at the ceiling. I finally got tired of laying there and just got up by 6:30 this morning to take a Shower. After getting the Computer turned on I started getting things ready for breakfast. It was only 7:45 when Kathy came out to join me.
We took turns on our Computers, while the other was getting ready for our morning appointment. Looking outside the Rain was really washing everything clean.
After struggling with Road Construction across the City all Summer it was nice to take Riverside Drive all the way to the west end. We only had to stop once for a Traffic Light, which meant we were still very early for our appointment with our Family Doctor.
George was happy with both our Blood Pressures and administered Kathy’s Flue Shot. He also sent me home with a refill and Kathy with a work order for Blood Testing. After wishing us Happy Holidays, we now have our first appointment for the New Year.
Things started getting a little confusing when we stopped at Vital-Aire about getting our new CPAP Machines. We’d had our appointment with the Sleep Disorder Specialist back in June, which was to authorize the increase to the setting on Kathy’s Machine. It was too low to get a proper night’s sleep. Since then she has been fine. He also issued Prescriptions for us to get New Machines. They wear out and my Retirement Package for Medical covers a new one every Five Years. We have to return tomorrow so their Tech can set them up for us.
For the last few days, I have been trying to make Kathy’s next appointment at Dyna-Care for her Two Month Blood Test for her Rheumatologist. Wanting to make that appointment, we took the Expressway across the City to their location. It was 11:28 when we arrived and when I mentioned not being able to make the appointment On-Line, I was told the have been having problems retrieving those Appointments. Kathy is now booked for the end of the month.
We stopped at Dairy Queen to have lunch since breakfast was long gone. Kathy had a Grilled Chicken Salad, while I had a Grilled Chicken Sandwich. We were leaving just as the Lunch Hour Rush was starting.
It
had stopped Raining
before we got home. Being tired from a restless night, I forgot to
make a couple of other
stops. It was after supper that I remembered them.
Even on our 6 o’clock Local News, they were talking about the US Presidential Election tomorrow and how the results could affect Canada. May the best candidate win.
We’ll be busy tomorrow afternoon.
