Short Trip.

Our Location today is Windsor, Ontario.

I slept so well that I didn’t wake up until 7:30 this morning. I had everything for breakfast as close as possible to serving, before going to my Computer. When shadows started filling the living room it was time to wake Kathy. I started by simply opening the Bedroom Blinds, but that didn’t work. That meant I had to go all out and plant a Loving Kiss on her forehead. When that smile came across her face, I knew I had succeeded.

We enjoyed a Strawberry Yogurt Parfait along with a Bran Muffin for breakfast before taking our Hot Apple Cider drinks over to the Computers.

I waited until noon to start making lunch. By the time I chopped and fried the Bacon, heated the Stir-Fry, then sauteed the Omelet with Mozzarella Cheese, it was past 1:00 before we ate. It was also filling enough that no dessert or snacks were needed the rest of the afternoon.

The South Wind gusts of 26 MPH was strong enough to rattle our Balcony Door. The temperature would reach 54 F (12 C) but it felt much cooler.

Around 5:00 I was about to start making supper when I found out I didn’t have an ingredient that we could not find at the grocery store the other night. Part of the problem is many stores continually move things around, thinking you’ll buy other things while on your search. We didn’t go back to the same store, instead we went to Walmart. We found it where the other store should have had it, along with a few other things that will keep us supplied until next weekend.

It was past 6:00, so we went to Wendy’s for supper. I was surprised that it was full of Seniors on a Sunday. I’ve mentioned before that you know you patronize an eatery too much when Staff and other Patrons know you by name.

It wasn’t the Road-Trip I had imagined today, but it got us out. Not sure what day we’ll actually keep that promise, but guess what we’ll be having for supper tomorrow?

We later watched a Hallmark Christmas Movie. It was hilarious.
