After spending time staring at the ceiling a couple of times through the night when it happened a Third Time, I figured it was time to start my day. It was only 6:30 and the Sun was sleeping in, so after I got things organized for a later breakfast, I headed to my Computer.
My moving around so much through the night must have been disturbing Kathy, because she needed extra time to recover. When she joined me, I had already finished reading all the Blogs on our sidebar that had published overnight.
It had been a Week since we had dropped Kathy’s Hearing Aide off for service and living with good sound in one ear only, was starting to bother her. I called Hearing Life and asked Tina if she had any news to report. She had just received the inventory list from the repair center and it showed Kathy’s would be here, hopefully today. We made an appointment for this afternoon in case.
Back on the Computer, I found the shipping slip for the Chinese Made Pants that were far from the size we ordered. After jumping though all the hoops and ringing all the bells I was able to print a Return Slip and attach it to the Package. Next I had to find a FedEx drop off location.
We were making lunch when Ann called from the Dentist Office, verifying Kathy’s appointment for tomorrow.
When
we headed out the Wind suddenly stopped and the Sun
came out. Even though it was 43 F (6 C) outside, it
felt toasty inside the Car.
A lot of the Courier
Services have started contracting Local Businesses
to accept returned items on their behalf, instead of people having to
find a way to the Distribution Hub.
We arrived at the Home Hardware Building
Center in Tecumseh and
had to walk to the back of the building to drop off the Package
for return. In less than a minute we were walking out with a Receipt
saying the Package had been excepted.
We lucked out driving across the road to the Plaza where the Hearing Life Office was. We were only slightly early and there were others ahead of us. After a brief wait, we were leaving Twenty Minutes later.
I
suddenly didn’t feel like cooking so after suggesting a few ideas,
we were soon on our way to the Michigan
Diner for supper. It also meant there’d be no Dishes
to clean.
Again, it seems that we are on a weather roller coaster for the next week. The temperature will be close to or below Freezing with only some Flurries. Canada’s top Meteorologist said last year we skipped Winter in our area, but we won’t this year. Sorry Phyllis, it looks like we’ll continue to share with Alabama.
We later watched a couple of Hallmark Programs.
We’ll be busy tomorrow.

Krackers
A senior citizen called her husband during his drive home. “Herman, I just heard on the news that there’s a car going the wrong way on I-90. Please be careful!”
Herman replied, “It’s not one car. There are hundreds of them!”
