Walking It Up.

Our Location today is Windsor, Ontario.

Getting up before the Sun does is getting to be old news. I was in the kitchen using the light, getting things ready for breakfast when the room started to brighten up. When Kathy joined me we settled in to have Bran Muffins and Blueberries for breakfast.

I’ve mentioned that I seem to be sleeping better by changing the time I get to bed and get up. It’s worked so well that I have reduced the sleep aides that I had to use before and after my surgery. When I get up early, I am wide awake, but later during the day, if I sit for more than a Half Hour, my eyes start to close. I have to continually get up and walk around to stay awake.

We had a surprise visitor this morning, (the Sun) but later on the Clouds filled the sky.

For lunch enjoyed a Store-Bought Thin-Crust Medium Hawaiian Pizza that I added more Pineapple to. Some of those pizzas lately are very skimpy on the fixings or they drop them all in one spot.

We both wanted to go walking but didn’t feel like wearing seasonal clothing. Remembering how I was making progress walking the hall after my surgery, along with the Physiotherapy. We locked the door and climbed the stairs to the Ninth Floor. We then walked to the North end and climbed to the Tenth Floor. By the time we walked to the South stairs again, I was starting to feel a twinge in my Hip. We descended those steps before walking back to the North stairwell. The target was to get as far as we could without overdoing it, so instead we repeated this until we got down to the Sixth Floor. If we had made it all the way down to the First Floor, we would have slowly ascended the stairs back to the Eighth Floor. Walking on flat surfaces has not been bothering me lately and there were fewer stairs in Therapy. We took the Elevator back to our floor. Our chairs were calling our names when we walked in the door.

For supper we enjoyed Grilled Salmon with Sauteed Potato Slices along with Sauteed Spinach with Mushrooms and Walnuts. We also enjoyed a slice of Tuxedo Cake surrounded by fresh Strawberries.

The Weather Guesser on the 6 o’clock Local News pointed out that we’ll be seeing Rain for the Next Five Days.

We later watched a Murder Mystery, that left us hanging. Part Two is next Monday.

Be Safe and Enjoy!

Words of Inspiration

I’m not lying to you. I don’t tell lies anymore, I’ve given it up. The field is overrun with amateurs.”
