Cardiologist Calls, Stormy Weather and Numbers Are Down.

Our Location today is at Windsor, Ontario.

It was hard to believe that we both made it to bed soon after 11:30 last night. What was even harder to believe was that we slept past 9:00 this morning and neither of us took anything for that purpose.

Kathy opened the Balcony Door as soon as she got up this morning even though it was on the cool side. By the time we finished breakfast and sat at our Computers the Sun had disappeared behind a wall of Clouds. Minutes later the sound of distant Thunder kept getting closer. We hadn’t even finished our Coffees when we could see the wall of Rain heading our way.

Our Morning Temperature that repeated itself
Twelve Hours Later.

Kathy received a number of phone calls from her Cardiologist Office this morning. The First we believe was accidentally disconnected. The Second she spoke to the Cardiologist himself. Since the start of the Caronavirus Shutdown the Government has allowed the Doctors to confer with their Patients by phone. Only severe cases now need to be seen in person at this time. Ten Minutes later the Cardiologist’s Receptionist called to schedule Kathy’s next (hopefully) face to face meeting next year.

For lunch we enjoyed a modified Caesar’s Salad loaded with finely Chopped Celery, Onion, Peppers, Tomatoes and Shredded Cheese. Kathy only served us each a Yogurt Cup for dessert.

Even though the Rain would come and go the Wind was beating up our Bike Cover on the Balcony. We also had to keep the Ceiling Light on in order to see. The lack of Sunlight also seemed to drag us down emotionally. I could not seem to motivate myself to exercise only attaining a partial Set.

By 5:30 our lunchtime Salad had long passed so Kathy made Pancakes for supper. She didn’t even put Chocolate Chips in her Pancake. We later had Grapes for dessert.

On the 6 o’clock Local News it showed that there had only been One new Coronavirus Case in the Windsor/Essex Region today and it was Travel Related. We will continue to see cooler temperatures with a couple near Freezing Nights this week.

We worked at our Computers until 9:00 when we turned on the Television. It had just been announced that One of the President’s close Aides had tested Positive for the Coronavirus. Since everyone in the White House is tested daily wearing of Masks is discouraged by the President himself. Now he and the First Lady have already been tested and other Aides will be in the morning. We wish them all well.

We’ll try to do something to liven us up tomorrow. Thank you for following along and feel free to leave a comment.

Be Safe and Enjoy!

  1. Hopefully it will be a face to face appointment by then! Wish we would get some rain here!

  2. Glad to hear your area has gotten the numbers down. Our county is doing well too, though Ottawa is a nightmare. I wish we would put up a gate.

  3. Our COVID-19 cases have gone up slightly but now the deaths have increased.

Now that the President and First Lady have been diagnosed with Coronavirus I hope his supporters reconsider and begin to use masks.
