Many of you can relate to Working long hours at your career. Raising your families. Buying a home and paying all the bills related to being homeowners and parents. We're now retired and don't need all that work and expense. Now "It's about time" and what we do to follow our dreams.

CPAP Clarification, The Insiders and First Ladies “Nancy Reagan”.

A quick note to those reading yesterday’s Blog about the number of CPAPs we have gone through. All of Kathy’s Machines were replaced due to their age while only the One that I now use as a back up was retired. I don’t believe that normal breathing is something that should cause the Machines to fail but if they don’t do their job then I would be the one to stop breathing.

I not only had things ready for breakfast but had part of my morning reading done before Kathy joined me this morning. With no real plans for the day we just got caught up on what was going on around the world and looking towards some future endeavours.

With the cooler outdoor temperatures radiating through the Balcony Door we needed more then our morning coffees to warm up so we had Chicken Noodle Soup for lunch. We also shared an Apple and an Orange along with Yogurt Cups for dessert.

With it being such a relaxed day we watched a Hallmark Movie before focusing on the 6 o’clock Local News. Globally there has been a spike in Coronavirus Cases with the majority being in the US. In Ontario there was over Eight Hundred New Cases mostly in the GTA area, In the Windsor/Essex region there were only Two New Cases.

After the News was over I cooked up a Medium Store Bought Thin Crust Hawaiian Pizza for our supper. Since we were more then hungry at that time we felt stuffed by such a reasonable sized Pizza.

After the Dishes were cleaned up we returned to the Computers until 9:00 where we watched a special we had seen advertised on CNN called The Insiders that was moderated by Jake Tapper. This was titled “A Warning from Former President Trump Officials” that had served through his administration. There were Eight Former Officials who spoke on a number of subjects. Some talked about his handling of the Coronavirus. Others spoke about his lack of concern towards threats of Terrorism. More spoke of his inability to deal with this summer’s Racial Protests. There was talk about his infatuation about the Security of the Election. The one thing the President never wanted to hear reports about anything negative about Russia. Only a couple of these people were fired because they would not do things against the law for the President wanted them to do. The rest resigned from their posts. They all came to the same conclusion that “Donald J Trump is not fit for the office of the President”.

When that finished we watched the special First Ladies. Tonight they covered Nancy Reagan and even had many aides from that time giving information along with her children.

Not sure what tomorrow will bring but I am hoping to get something accomplished. Thank you for following along and feel free to leave a comment.

  2. The President CANNOT do anything about the racial protests. It's against the law. Only the governors of each state have authority over all that looting and burning. The President offered many times to help, but can only do so if the governors ASK for help. They all refused to do so. Those that spoke must not know the law.
    As to the corona virus, he closed down the borders before any one while all of his "people" and the democrats told him not to. Imagine just how bad it would have been had he not done that.

  3. I have to agree with everything Nancy has said. The governors had the power and refused when the President offered to help! Yes, he's not perfect but I have never seen a harder working President all the while the Democrats have been working to get him out of office since day 1.

  4. Goodness. Really...CNN? I assume you follow Canadian politics as closely as you follow USA politics. Canada has their own problems such as the WE Charity scandal. There are a lot of Canadians that don't approve of Trudeau. And that comment would hold true for every political leader.

  5. I am in complete agreement with the previous three comments. I do not understand your obsession with American politics. You claim you want to learn but you sound more like a Trump basher than a student.
    I think you should stick to Canadian politics and help the people elect an adult as PM.
