All good things must come to an end as the saying goes. Kathy had another great night’s sleep while I counted the number of hours of sleep on part of one hand. I was in bed by midnight but had get up around 3:00 took a couple of Melatonin and played a few puzzles on the Computer before giving sleep another try. I even stayed in bed later this morning just to get a few more minutes rest.

When I opened the Balcony Blinds the sun was well hidden behind all the Rain Clouds that were adding to our water-table. With Lights on I had barely started to get things ready for breakfast when Kathy joined me. We discussed what we wanted to do with the last couple days of moderate temperatures.

We finished what reading we could do on the Computers before setting about to make an early lunch. Not wanting to be overloaded we kept it lite and simple with a bowl of Chicken Noodle Soup with a single Yogurt Cup for dessert.

See the Truck's reflection in the water.

Kathy wanted to tag along so we were out the door before noon in hopes of accomplishing things on the Trailer. Arriving at Guardian Storage it didn’t take long for Kathy to change her mind as a miniature lake circled the Trailer. She had brought a book in case so made good use of that time.

I picked up Tools and the Ladder that had been left behind after the last round of chores. I then tackled the front Cabinet in the bedroom where the bottom shelves were coming apart. Once they were removed I needed tools that were not within my immediate reach to rebuild them. Bringing the Trim Pieces along we made a quick stop at the Storage Unit to leave the Ladder and Toolbox before stopping for our Mail.

Since it has been a few months we also stopped at the Pioneer gas station to top the Truck off with Diesel while the prices are below the Dollar per Litre.

We then needed to go to Fabric-Land. We were there the other day but were so focused on what Kathy needed then we never thought about today’s needs. We need to dye some material but found out if you don’t use the Fixing Agent afterwards the Dye will just wash out. When we stopped at Michael’s where we got the RIT Dye they said they didn’t carry the Fixing Agent. After the Masked Security Guard let us in it only took us a couple minutes to find what we were looking for.

It had already been Four Hours since we’d had our Lite Lunch so we swung over to Arby’s where we were able to use a Coupon to get a couple of Roast Beef Sandwich Meals at a reasonable price. We had both been feeling the hunger but after we ate we felt much better.

After getting Kathy into the Apartment I went back to get a number of things out of the Truck. We then had the chance to do more reading on the Computers before the 6 o’clock Local News came on. We had an additional Four Coronavirus Cases in our area just today. We’ve got another day of moderate temperatures filled with Rain before we cool down.

We spent more time on the Computers until the Final Presidential Debate started at 9:00. This was a much better Debate then the first where both Candidates Responses could be heard. Interested to hear what others thought of it. Thank you for following along and feel free to leave a comment.

Be Safe and Enjoy!

It’s about time.

The consensus after the election is that 100 percent of voters think 50 percent of voters have lost their minds.

  1. Yep you've got rain! I take a book (kindle) everywhere because you never know when it comes in handy :)

  2. Since you probably aren't going anywhere this winter are you planning anything for next summer in your country? It is so pretty around Lake Superior. And your 5th wheel is ready to go.

  3. It is a good thing that you are able to do so much of the maintenance in your RV yourself.

Please send some rain our way :-(
