We don’t know what happen last night but we both slept like a couple of rocks and neither of us took anything to help with that. I don’t even recall rolling over and the first time I looked at the Clock it was 8:00 in the morning. Kathy joined me almost an Hour later.
We set about doing our usual work and reading on the Computers before noon. In response to a few Comments that we have gotten both Kathy and I use our CPAP (Continuous Positive Airway Pressure) Machines nightly. When one has Sleep Apnea you stop breathing many times throughout your sleep period. Your body is not rebuilding its Blood Oxygen which can eventually lead to a Heart Attack, Stroke or Death. The few times that we have had Power Outages and were forced to spend only Half the night without them it took nearly a week before we fully recovered. That was also why I installed Pure Sine Wave Inverters in our RVs so we never had to worry about loosing Power.
When it came time to make lunch I didn’t want Kathy getting tired of soup or grilled cheese sandwiches so I made French Toast. Kathy enjoyed every bite of them but still topped them off with a Cinnamon Twist for our dessert.
We enjoyed our Tea while back at the Computers. After reading the Information Sheet that Kathy had been given originally for the Canceled Surgery I found that she would need to stop taking any kind of Blood Thinners that she could be taking. Since I fill our Pill Doucettes and track our medications on the Computer I highlighted a few before making a call. I called the Pharma Choice drug store we deal with in Amherstburg and talked with Steve the Pharmacist. He confirmed that only One of Six I suspected needed to be stopped but he surprised me when he mentioned that Fish Oil Vitamins are also used as a Blood Thinner.
Needing to move around we cleaned up the Dishes and Kitchen rather then waiting until after supper.
With Freezing Temperatures and Mixed Precipitation forecasted for the next few nights Kathy wanted to finish getting things on the Balcony closed up. We worked together to wrap our Two Potted Pine Trees. Being on the Eighth Floor they need the added protection. Working on a Plastic Sheet inside our living room it was more comfortable then the 52 F (11 C) with the Gusting Wind outside. Now they’ll survive the winter with no damage to any branches.
Since Kathy’s Medications have recently been changed with the upcoming surgery I have to make adjustments to her List she presents to the Doctors. When I originally made this File on my Computer I was using Microsoft Office. When my Hard Drive needed to be replaced I lost Microsoft and started using the free version of Libre Office. It removed pictures of the Pills so I spent the remainder of the afternoon reworking Kathy’s Medication List. Now it looks better and is up to date.
For supper we had Macaroni and Cheese along with a cup of Tea.
On the 6 o’clock Local News we had Two more Coronavirus Cases in our area due to close contact. We’ll definitely be freezing tonight along with SXXW. It should melt during the day.
We’ll see what we’ll be doing tomorrow. Thank you for following along and feel free to leave a comment.
Be Safe and Enjoy!
It’s about time.

Your french toast looks delicious it has been years since I have had some. I learned something new today I had no idea Fish Oil Vitamins were used as blood thinners.
ReplyDeleteI have been considering downloading Libre Office but since I am not computer savvy I was afraid I might be inviting some malware. Thank you for mentioning that you are using it.
I love your first picture showing the changing of the leaves that is something that does not happen in my part of the world. Believe it or not, we also had snow in the Pandhandle of Texas. Enjoy yours!
P.S. Meant PANHANDLE of Texas...sorry about that!
ReplyDeleteYour little balcony is cute, would be great in the fall or spring. I remember Ken having to stop Fish Oil before surgery too.
