Good Sleep, Working At The Trailer and Rollback For The GTA.

Our Location today is at Windsor, Ontario.

After all the fresh air we had on our bike ride yesterday it was no surprise that Kathy slept a little later then I did. When she did join me the Balcony Door was already open and the temperature was already a comfortable 68 F (20 C).

After returning to the Computer and checking The Weather Network it was decided we would go do things at the Trailer this afternoon. When I raised the Solar Panels I noticed a few things that will be needing sealing on the roof and figured it would be better done before Winter rather then waiting for Spring. Kathy thought that this would be the perfect time to do extra cleaning inside before we start putting everything back inside. It was cleaned when we emptied it but a lot of dust accumulated from then until now.

Lunch was lite having Baked Beans on Toast along with a Pecan Tart and Yogurt Cup for dessert before heading out the door.

Not knowing what we might need to do we drove the Truck to Guardian Storage to work on the Trailer. The first thing we did was to open all the Slides so we could comfortable work. Kathy wanted to make the Bed but the Factory Repair Center had removed the Mattress Pad and put it under the Bed itself. We also found they had removed the Skylight Cover I had made for the Bathroom as well as the Towel Bar that hung under the Medicine Cabinet. The Cover I could understand but the Towel Bar was Factory Installed.

That’s also when I realized that I had rushed leaving the Apartment and had not even brought my Screwdriver. We locked up the Trailer and went to our Climate Controlled Storage Unit to see what we could bring over. We found a few things we needed but decide to finish the cleaning the Trailer first. I was surprised that for a Climate Controlled Unit the Dicor and Sealer had gone bad.

Kathy was starting to feel a little on the sick side so we closed up the Slides and locked up the Trailer. We headed to the Office before leaving and collected our Mail.

We stopped at Canadian Tire to pick up some Spray Paint and another tube of Caulking for the roof.

It was already past 5:00 so we went to Wendy’s Drive-Thru to order our supper. Even without a Coupon we both had a Chicken Wrap, a small Chocolate Frosty and a Senior’s Soft Drink for less then Ten Dollars.

A New Layer of Asphalt was added yesterday
with new Linage including Bicycle Lanes today.
Like the Fall Colours in the Trees?

We were back at the Apartment on time to watch the 6 o’clock Local News. It was a moderate 75 F (24 C) but the Wind was starting to pick up. We were not surprised to hear that the Provincial Government of Ontario had pushed the Greater Toronto Area back into Phase 2 Recovery because of the sudden spike in Coronavirus Cases. Our area had Three New Cases today.

With tomorrow being the last day of above seasonal temperatures for this year I know what I’ll be doing. Thank you for following along and feel free to leave a comment.

Be Safe and Enjoy!

It’s about time.

Krackers

Important to have, unnecessary to show off.

  1. I was wondering about your trailer. Roof cleaning is on my radar too. Funny they would remove the towel bar. Must have had to do make repairs then didn't put it back?

  2. I have to agree with Kathy about doing extra cleaning while it's so empty! Chicken wrap sounds yummy!

  3. Good idea to clean your RV now that it is vacant. Will you be putting everything back before winter begins?

    I like today's Krackers.
