While
reading many of the Blogs we follow we’ve noticed that like
a lot of others our sleeping habits have been changing due to the
Coronavirus. Everyone was told to
Stay Home, Social Distance then to Wear Masks.
What all this is doing is reprogramming our Biological Clocks
to make us stay up later as well as waking at hours that we
appreciated as children. Many of us are feeling run down while the
truth of the matter is we are not as busy as what we should be. We’re
tired in the middle of the day because we are bored. Even if we
exercise it’s not as much as we used to. This Virus
has to be addressed soon or we’ll all be changing our wardrobes not
so much on the Plus Side but on the Plus
Size. As for the extra sleep my body appreciates it as it
tries to recover lost sleep from years ago.
The
Sun was filling the sky when within minutes of one another we
began our day. There was a comfortable breeze coming through the
Balcony Door. When breakfast was over we took our Coffee/Tea
over to the Computers to get caught up with everyone before
taking care of our morning chores.
We
worked together taking inventory of what we had in the Fridge,
Freezer and Pantry. This not only helped us make a
Grocery List but it gave us ideas as to what we could have for
lunch. Something light but nutritious enough to hold us until supper.
The idea was simple we had Eggs Over Easy on Toas along with a Yogurt Cup for dessert topped off with a mug of
Hot Chocolate with Marshmallows.
We
took another quick look at the Computers before heading out
the Door. We had a few things that we needed to take care of
so we planned on completing everything by making a loop. As we were
just around the corner from our first location the Train Crossing
Gates came down for what turned out to be quite a lengthy Freight
Train but it was travelling well above the City Speed Limits
so it was gone in couple of Minutes.
Our
first stop was at Guardian Storage where
the first thing was to check our Mailbox.
We
then drove back to the Trailer. Since it is scheduled to go
back to the Dealership next week
we extended all the Slides and did a final sweep to make
certain there were no personal items left inside. Heavens we’d
forgot the our Shower Caddie. After retracting all the Slides
and shut the Lights we checked the Battery Monitor to
see all the Batteries fully charged. Even though the Solar
Panels charge the Batteries when they are full the Charge
Controller prevents the Batteries from being overcharged.
After
a quick check of the Basement we soon headed over to our
Climate Controlled Storage Unit. First we dropped off the few
things we had just taken from the Trailer then we had things
to pick up. Kathy wanted a Plastic Bin of Clothes to bring to
the Apartment while I collected
my Welding Machine that normally travels with us to do a small
job for our daughter.
Three
Stops, One Location, not bad. After heading back up Jefferson
we stopped at Pioneer gas station to top off the car with
Gasoline. Even though the price has been slowly creeping back up it
has been nearly a month since we last did this.
Our
next stop was at Dollarama where
we had a few things to get from our Grocery List. By getting
those items there rather then the grocery store we saved what we
paid.
From
there we stopped at the Zehr’s grocery
store to get Produce and Frozen Foods before finally
heading home.
I
retrieved one of the larger Shopping Carts downstairs in our
building to bring out to the Car. When we headed back inside
it was more then full.
Since
we over-purchased one thing on our List we ended up
having a Store Bought Thin Crust Vegetarian Pizza for supper.
After
months of our weekend 6 o’clock Local News
being preempted by Golf Tournaments we were surprise when we
were actually able to see the Local News
on time.
Not
sure what we’ll be doing tomorrow. Thank
you for following along and feel free to leave a comment.
Be
Safe and Enjoy!
It’s
about time.
Krackers
Don’t
you hate it when someone answers their own questions?
I
do.
Lovely sunset. Are you selling your trailer?
ReplyDeleteI joined your blog late and while I know you had previously had it serviced I have no idea as to the reason why you have to send it back again. If it is not too much trouble would you mind telling us?
ReplyDeleteHi Rick, glad you will be getting you rig fixed. A welder always has friends who just by chance have a project they need help with. ha ha ha Glad you can help your daughter. Have a great day.
ReplyDeleteI hope they actually FIX it this time so you don't have to completely unload it again. I've got my fingers crossed for you.
ReplyDeleteWe're hoping your trailer gets fixed this time too. Seems there's always something with these RVS. Yep that was a lot of running around
