We were up at 8:00 this morning which at this point we are not to worried because we are both retired at this moment. Even with the Window completely open and the Balcony Door slightly ajar to keep the air moving we were already feeling the warmth when we got up. Once the Door was completely open we could feel the Southerly Breeze but it wasn’t helping.
In response to one of the Comments we received about our Trailer repairs. Like many Fifth Wheel Trailers our’s developed a crack in the Sidewall by the front corner of the Bedroom Slide. We had less then Two Thousand Miles on it when it first happen. The following Summer we had to take a Motel Room while the Dealership had it repaired locally. The Trailer was towed less then Twenty Miles back to the Dealership before the crack returned. The following Spring we had to get home early so the Trailer could be returned to the Factory Repair Center in Indiana where they were supposed to fix it properly. It looked great when we got it back. Heading South that Fall we hadn’t covered a Thousand Miles and the Crack was back.
Picture taken Saturday.
The Trailer was supposed to have gone back to the Factory Repair Center in April this year but due to the Coronavirus that was put on hold. In June the Factory contacted us with an offer to have it done locally again. Everywhere I called locally told me the problem is a Structural Issue and refused to touch it. Our Trailer is scheduled to be back at the Factory this coming week.

Since we enjoy eating Tacos but not all the Fries we’ve been staying away from Taco Bell even though we have coupons. What Kathy did was buy a Taco Kit when we were grocery shopping. While she fried up the Ground Beef I chopped Celery, Onions and Peppers to add to the mix. I also chopped up some Tomatoes to add to the Tacos along with the Shredded Cheese.
For Lunch we enjoyed Hard Shell Tacos. Even though we felt satisfied our cravings for Tacos was not sated. Luckily there is more fill leftover.

By the time we finished eating Kathy could barely breath because of the rising temperatures so it was time to turn on the Air Conditioner. We are in the midst of another Heat Wave but should see some relief by mid week.
Getting bored with the Computers we turned on the Television finding that most of the movies being advertised we had recently seen because of our staying at home so much. Then we found “Very Scary People” hosted by Donnie Wahlberg. We managed to watch the Two Part Series on the “Co-ed Killer” and the “BTK” series. It is sad there has to be people like that but it is good on how advances have been made in Forensic Science that helps solve these crimes.
It was after 7:00 when we had Soft Tacos for supper. With more Seasoned Beef leftover it looks like we may be having Spaghetti soon.

We watched the 11 o’clock Local News from London. The AC seems to be working without us freezing. Tomorrow I’ve got an appointment but with this heat Kathy plans to stay home. Thank you for following along and feel free to leave a comment.
Be Safe and Enjoy!

It’s about time.

  1. Thank you for answering my question. Wow, I had no idea what you all had been through. I sincerely hope they fix it for once and for all.

As usual I am starving to death after reading your post. Some tacos would sure hit the spot right about now.

    Good words of inspiration.

  2. It is unfortunate about the crack returning but with it being structural, probably something that will always be there in some form unless they do a rebuild. :(

  3. If it makes it any better, I know a few other people who seem to be having the same problem. It's certainly something the factory needs to fix.

  4. I can't imagine it's ever going to be fixed correctly. I agree with Patsy. Those temps and humidity would kill me! We love homemade tacos..we both could eat them everyday I'm thinking!

  5. Dito to the above. Maybe they will give you a new unit if they cannot fix the problem. We will follow how it turns out. Dinner looked interesting and colourful.

  6. Sorry that this problem is still ongoing. We met a couple this winter that had a large high end fifth wheel like your sand they had the same crack. The RV tech tried to fix it but it was a structural problem and impossible to repair. They were going to try and get a refund. Any chance they will give you money back?

The tacos look wonderful, I prefer the soft myself.
