More Rain and Republican Presidential Nomination.

Our Location today is at Windsor, Ontario.

The fresh air we breathed for the short amount of time that we were outside yesterday seemed to do the trick because it was close to 8:30 when we woke this morning.
We finished the English Muffins for breakfast before moving to the Computers. Strangely The Weather Network forecasted a Humidex of 104 F (40 C) but it actually ended up being higher than that.
For lunch we had Hearty Chicken Vegetable Rice Soup and a Toasted Tomato with Cheese Sandwich topped off by a Yogurt Cup. We then worked together to clean up the Dishes and the Kitchen. We spent the rest of the afternoon working on the Computers doing Data entries as well as checking what we missed on the Republican Presidential Nomination last night.
If we held our hand within a Foot of the Balcony Door you could feel the heat radiating through the Thermopane Glass. We then noticed that the Clouds were starting to fill the sky but around 4:00 those clouds let us know they weren’t just there for appearances and within minutes started filling the parking lot with Puddles as well as knocking the temperature down a bit.
You can see the Rain shining on the Asphalt.
Shortly after 5:00 I started grilling a couple of Angus Beef Burgers for supper while Kathy cut and cored an Apple each for our dessert. We have been working at reducing what we have in the Fridge, Freezer and Cupboards. When the Coronavirus first hit our area it was hard to find what we needed in the stores. So bit by bit we stocked up to the point that some things became overstocked. By using some of the things that we have we can reorganize our stock so we’ll be ready if there is another run on the stores in the Fall.
The 6 o’clock Local News talked about a number of things Locally as well as Nationally.

At 8:30 we tuned in to watch the Republican Presidential Nomination at the Mellon Auditorium in Washington where more people explained why they were supporting President Trump for re-election. It was past 10:00 before he made his address from the North Lawn of the White House. Few in the audience were wearing Masks nor was there any Social Distancing. According to the Correspondents this has never been done by any other President.

With it supposed to be nearly as warm tomorrow we’ll see what we’ll be doing. Thank you for following along and feel free to leave a comment.
Be Safe and Enjoy!

It’s about time.

Words of Inspiration

You have to remember that the hard days are what make you stronger. The bad days make you realize what a good day is. If you never had any bad days you would never have that sense of accomplishment!

  1. It's a personal choice to wear masks or not. It's funny everyone was so up in arms about it when none of the protestors or looters wore masks for the last four months until they started getting arrested because people photographed them. THEN they wore masks!! With the admission ... finally ... that HCQ works very well if taken early on, I'm hoping they let everyone make the mask wearing decision for themselves.
Send us some of that rain please. Now I know why Canada is so green and gorgeous!

  2. We are having rain today probably due to Laura. Most of Leonards family live in the Lake Charles, LA and Orange TX areas. We are so thankful none of them had more than tree down and shingles blown off damage.

In Alabama we are required to wear a mask when entering any public area. Takes some getting used to. I could not tell you how many times I've had to walk back to the car or truck to retrieve my mask.
