We
managed to get out of bed shortly after 8:00 this morning after
sleeping like a couple of rocks. Breakfast was simply a Bran
Muffin along with our Coffee/Tea that we brought over to
the Computers to enjoy.
By
the time I turned on The Weather Network
our local temperature had already risen to the upper Fifties.
We would spend most of the morning on the Computers while
enjoying a second cup and completing our morning chores.
For
lunch I made Grilled Cheese Sandwiches while Kathy sliced up a
Tomato to share as a side as well as making our dessert plates
that had an Apple that we shared, a Pecan Tart and a
Yogurt Cup.
Once
we had finished eating we cleaned up the Dishes as well as the
Kitchen before going back to the Computers. Around 2:00
we decided to see what was on Television. We have seen all the
movies that were on so decided to check out Forensic Files.
Even
though Kathy and I have only been together for the last Twenty
Years we are both into Mysteries. As a fact Forty Years
ago we were both into reading True Crime and True Detective
magazines. We’ve attended a few Murder Mystery Diners and
were among the few that actually solved the crimes with the clues
given. What they can do today with Forensic Science is amazing
that it takes away all the uncertainty in solving the crimes.
We
left the TV on while we worked together to make supper. While
I cleaned and sliced a couple of Potatoes to make Homemade
Fries Kathy got the Frying Pans going on the stove as well
as the Two Salmon Fillets from the Freezer. Dessert was
a Brownie.
A
Golf Tournament was scheduled well past our News Time so
we continued watching the Forensic Files. At 7:00 “How
It Really Happened” with Will Harper came on. This is
similar to “Very Scary People”
where they talk about the cases of actual Serial Killers in
Two-One Hour Segments. The first
case they spoke about was “The Atlanta
Child Killer” which I remember hearing about on the
News.
The
second case was “The Yosemite Murders”.
This case I’m not certain that I recall it but it was still
interesting.
The
One thing these Two Cases have in common is they
happened before Forensic DNA was available so they were done
the old fashion way of gathering Microscopic Evidence that
would be used to solve the cases. The sad part was all the lives that
were needlessly cut short.
On
the 11 o’clock Local News they
talked about both the Weather as well as the Coronavirus
numbers that keep flip-flopping back and forth. They covered an
incident in Toronto where a
couple of demonstrators attacked a number of Police Officers
that were just doing crowd control on the sidelines. There was
another incident reported where a number of Trump
Supporters were driving through town ahead of a rally
spraying people with Pepper Spray. The Mayor sent out
the message that they are not welcome and told the President
to stay away because all he’s doing is inciting this kind of
behaviour.
We
see what we do tomorrow. Thank
you for following along and feel free to leave a comment.
Be
Safe and Enjoy!

I remember the Yosemite Murders well. I worked in Yosemite for a few years and knew the family. It sure was scary to find out what kind of guy he really was. No one had a clue.
ReplyDeleteSo much to say on the Trump situation that I shall remain silent.... :D
ReplyDeleteNice that you two have the mysteries in common, makes for easy tv watching! Home made fries look yummy!
