Bad Post Scheduling and Coronavirus Is Close To Home.

After getting to bed early last night and even after waking to roll over a couple of times I was opening the Balcony Blinds before 8:00 this morning. I even managed to get things ready for a Lite Breakfast before heading to my Computer. After checking E-Mails and Local News I finally logged on to our Blog. That’s when I found a big problem.
Yesterday I had managed to write the Blog early but I didn’t want to post it right away so I scheduled it to post for 10:00 last night. Normally I go back later to verify that the scheduling worked but last night I just shut the Computer and was in bed by 10:30. Imagine my shock when I found Tuesday’s Blog still in place when our Blog opened. A quick check of the Scheduled Draft showed the proper time but some how the Date had changed to the 27th of the month. A quick change of information and the Blog was posted just under Eleven Hours after it was scheduled.

When Kathy finally woke I heard how she kept waking for extended periods throughout the night. After breakfast her biggest chore was to wish our granddaughter a Happy Birthday.
I managed to put together Vegetable Soup for lunch along with Date Squares and Yogurt Cups for dessert with Pomegranate Tea for our refreshment.

We basically did a lot of different research throughout the afternoon as Kathy needing a couple of Snaps to keep her going. We were a little upset that time had slipped by so quickly.

For supper Kathy made a wonderful Caesars Salad to go with the Hungarian Hurka that Vera had given her the other day. I’ve written about grilling the Hurka on the Weber Q before but even in the Frying Pan it tasted great. We have more for another meal. Thank you Vera!

After watching the 6 o’clock Local News we worked at our Computers until more coverage on the Coronavirus came on the Television. Our own Prime Minister is self-quarantining himself because his wife just tested positive for the virus and so has a Windsor resident. Looks like we might be hunkering down soon. Thank you for following along and feel free to leave a comment.
Be Safe and Enjoy!

It’s about time.
Krackers

You know you are getting old when

you've seen it all, done it all, can't remember most of it.

  1. I was getting worried because I go online late at night and your post is always there but not last night. Glad you are both doing well and it was only a timing glitch.

I thought of you guys when I heard of the Prime Minister's wife being diagnosed with the Coronavirus.

I had to laugh at Krackers this evening as it described ME!

  3. We are definitely hunkering down. Going to be a long couple of months or longer to get through this. It has rained so much this winter down here that you haven't missed too much sunshine.

  6. Dad's wedding has been cancelled, ceremony is still on but the idea of a shindig wedding has been erased. No idea when we will be coming through, but we will eventually. Keep you posted.

  7. That Hungarian Hurka is really good, but you have no idea how good it is until you eat it freshly made.
