Our Location today is Largo,
Florida.
What a difference the new mattress and pillows made last
night. Other than waking the odd time we slept the whole night and woke this
morning feeling refreshed and minus a lot of aches and pains.
Another thing we woke to this morning was rain and lots of
it. Were we ever glad that I had tied the old mattress on the back of the truck
last night so we could dispose of it today. After a light breakfast and a quick
look at the computers Kathy called the store to find out where we could legally
dispose of our old one. Twenty minutes later we were on the way to the Pinellis
Waste Management which was less than ten miles away and it only cost us $1.13
to dispose of our mattress.
We headed back to the Largo mall
since we really didn’t have time to look at too much of it the other day. Upon arriving
there the first thing we did was find a place to have lunch and since we like
to try different places we went to a place called Sweet
Tomatoes. This was an all you can eat Salad and Soup Bar. They had
twenty different salads and eight homemade soups and all the garnishings. It was
all good and amazing how filled up you can get on soup and salad. We also
qualified for the seniors discount making it very affordable as well.
The rain had stopped while we were eating lunch so now we
were going to walk it off because Kathy was struggling to find replacement sandals
since we arrived in Florida
because hers were starting to split at the seams. I dropped her off at the Rack Room and went to park the truck. Looking around I
knew if she didn’t have any luck there she was within a short walking distance
of four other shoe stores.
She had already found a pair close to what she wanted so
with a bit of my help we were actually able to find two pairs of different
shoes that she liked. The best part was you bought the first pair at full price
and the second pair was half off.
Yes that is a chocolate sundae that you make yourself. |
We looked around a few other stores in the mall before
heading down the road to Walmart. We looked around and were surprised at how
small this store seemed to be and merchandise was limited and packed in the
aisles making it hard to move around. It looked like the store was under
expansion.
More soup and coffee for supper to warm up. |
Now we headed back to the trailer but instead of sitting
outside like yesterday we stayed inside because the sky remained cloud covered
with plenty of cold wind blowing to dry any standing water. Tomorrow is looking
like another exploration day. Thanks for following along and feel free to leave
a comment. Be Safe and Enjoy!
It’s about time.
