Answers, Appointments and Visiting.

Our Location today is Tecumseh, Ontario.

As I mentioned yesterday I had a lousy night’s sleep but I seemed to recover from it last night. One of the side effects of Sleep Apnea is Insomnia so you never really know how good you will sleep on any given night.

Kathy has a hard time eating authentic Mexican food and has only recently been able to eat at Taco Bell which has taken Mexican food ideas and Americanized them so that people like Kathy can enjoy a slight taste of the real thing. We also find that what we order balances our diets from the different food groups without over filling us.

Many people are amazed at the pictures they see in our blog and yes we shot each and every one of them. When we are not travelling and have not taken any recent pictures I go through our archives of unpublished pictures and use them in our blogs. I try to relate them somewhat to the subject that I’m writing about. Being Canadians when we travel in the US we are unable to volunteer at State Parks unless we had a Green Card which would entail US income taxes. That is a mess we don’t want to get into so for the time being we’ll just enjoy the beauty that nature gives us. We will be returning to Crystal River this January as Kathy was so taken with swimming with the Manatees last March that we’ll be doing it again while we’re parked at Rock Crusher Canyon RV Park. We will also be doing some serious kayaking while there.

We spent the morning on the computers reading and I found a backdoor way of adding some programs into Kathy’s computers. This afternoon I had a follow up appointment with my family doctor. All my past tests came back with great numbers but I had a few questions that led to my having Chest X-rays this afternoon and Ultra Sound booked for next week.

Kathy’s allergies continue to bother her so when she takes something for them they make her drowsy and in need of a Snap. So when we got back to the apartment that was the place she had to go while I had to reschedule my appointment with the Surgeon until the end of the month.

For supper we stopped at Wendy’s where we used coupons and tried their new Pretzel Pub Chicken meal. It was very tasty and filling and we’ll probably be having it again in the future.

Being this was Wednesday evening we were visiting with our son Kevin and daughter-in-law Melissa. For the last three years they have not purchased any school pictures of Cameron because he doesn’t know how to smile naturally. On Sunday when we celebrated our Canadian Thanksgiving I took some pictures of Cameron that I coached him through and got some good results. Last night I burned the midnight oil working with my Adobe Photoshop so I could present some choices of pictures for them to choose from. Besides a night filled with laughter there was also tears of joy.

With the cold rainy weather moving into our area we are truly watching our countdown counter on our sidebar getting ready for the day our Snowbirding trip begins this year. Thanks for following along and feel free to leave a comment. Be Safe and Enjoy!

  1. At least you have a plan, but afraid you may see some nasty weather before you hit the road.
