Sleepless Errand, Computer Day.

Our Location today is Tecumseh, Ontario.

I don’t know what happen last night but it was almost as if I had my old CPAP machine and that wasn’t good because I hardly slept. I tossed and turned until I finally got out of bed shortly after 2:00 and I didn’t get tired enough to sleep until after 5:30. From there I managed to sleep until slightly past 8:30. Of course Kathy’s quality of sleep suffered because she felt that I wasn’t lying in bed next to her.

After breakfast we sat at the computers and read of a number of RVers that have already started their southern trek in order to beat the colder temperatures. After completing our morning reading I made a few changes on the blog that Kathy suggested. I also managed to research data that I’m adding to one of my working spreadsheets.

We had an errand that we wanted to run this morning so dressing according to the lower temperatures we were on our way shortly after 11:30. After two days of celebrating our Canadian Thanksgiving we decided we’d like a change for lunch. Using a coupon we stopped at Taco Bell where we both had a Taco Supreme Meal for $9.99. It was nice to get out and just relax but we sure didn’t appreciate the colder weather.
We stopped at the car wash to get the car cleaned inside and out. Last year I had cleaned both the car and truck but because of the hernia surgery and other unforeseen problems arising this year it was easier to pay to have it done. Back at the apartment we had planned to wax the car but the product we had planned on using said it required 24 hours of rain free curing time. Unfortunately all the local weather forecasts were predicting rain for early this evening.

Kathy started doing our expenditure entries while I returned to the computers to upload pictures from our cameras to my old PC that is used as our main photo storage unit to empty our SD cards in preparation of the upcoming holidays and our own southern trek after Christmas. For supper I had to wear a coat outside on the balcony as I grilled up some hotdogs on our Weber Q while Kathy made a wonderful Greek Salad to go with it.

As each day passes we continue making plans and getting more anxious for when we’ll be heading south again on our Snowbird Migration this winter. Thanks for following along and feel free to leave a comment. Be Safe and Enjoy!

It’s about time.

  1. The last photo of your blog... Kathy standing in front of the Crystal River NWR sign.... are you heading there? Maybe to volunteer? I must have missed the blog explaining that... just wondered as we volunteered there a few years ago... good experience.

  2. Getting a lousy night's sleep is so frustrating. How is Taco Bell? We've never eaten there and have just started eating Mexican food here in California.

  4. Pretty busy day for you both. Hope your sleep improves sure no fun being up like that. You have it all now in Ontario Taco Bell! Always good for a little indulgence once in a while. Hot Dog and the Greek Salad sounded pretty good to. Have a great day!
