Getting Out and Seeing Things.

Our Location today is Windsor, Ontario.

Though the roller coaster continues with my ability to sleep, there was no problem there, last night. Instead, the last couple of nights, has been my sleeping so late. Anything past 8:00 is late, but this is getting to be too easy.

I’ve barely been getting things ready for breakfast, by the time that Kathy has been joining me. That means she gets an earlier start on her Computer, while I finish the preparations.

I used today’s down time to get caught up on my Blog Reading. Any time one of the Blogs on our Sidebar publish a new post, I read them. Sometimes when we have a lot of appointments, it may take a few days to catch-up, but eventually I get there. When things are slow, is when I have time to leave my own Comments.

We finally got to enjoy the Leftover Chinese Food that we brought home on Monday, and it still tasted just as good.

After doing up the Dishes and watching a “News Brief”, we took our time to head out the door. Walking into the shade out the rear entrance of the building, we were comforted by a Northeast Breeze blowing from the Detroit River. The moment we walked into the direct Sunshine in the parking lot, it felt like we were being cooked on the spot. The Humidex was only 93 F (34 C), but with the lack of Wildfire Smoke to protect us, we were totally exposed to the direct Rays.

We took our time walking around the nearby Shoppers Drug Mart, gathering supplies we needed and taking advantage of Thursday’s Senior Discount.

We got to experience the new Construction Detour on Lauzon Road today, by travelling first, in the opposite direction than yesterday.

Though I could have, but I just did not feel like cooking this evening, so we headed over to Wendy’s. I was able to use more of their Coupons that are about to expire this weekend, to save on tonight’s supper. The fact that they were in the middle of people from the Drive-Thru picking up supper for their families at home and Uber Eats pickups, we got through fairly quick. We enjoyed the cool peacefulness of their dining room, where besides enjoying our meals, we also enjoyed People-Watching. Some of the things we saw, our parents would have immediately dealt with, without a second thought.

Since we’ll be out tomorrow, we passed on our grocery shopping again. We watched “The Rookies” and “Criminal Minds” before watching the “11 o’clock Local News”. Looks like we can expect more warm temperatures, just not as Hot as July.

We can’t sleep too late tomorrow.
