Though we slept in until 8:00 this morning, we both felt quite rested. With Blood Tests booked for both of us this afternoon, breakfast was eating more of the remaining Fruit in our Refrigerator. It seemed to do the trick, because neither of us were feeling hungry we past the testing.
As soon as we returned home from the Doctors Appointments yesterday, I immediately went On-Line and scheduled our Blood Tests for today. Driving all the way back to the town of Tecumseh for third day in a row, was making it feel like Groundhog Day.
Though we arrived at Dyna-Care early for our appointments, there was an unexpected delay. The Assistant had called in sick, putting all the day’s appointments in the hands of the Phlebotomist. She had worked this location for more than a Year before getting an Assistant, so she handled the challenge, without missing a beat. We were still on our way minutes before our scheduled Appointments.
Instead of going to any of the Fast Food locations within a block of the Clinic, we travelled to the Pita Pit location on Howard Avenue. The reasons why we chose this for our late lunch, was our next appointment was just down the road, and this Healthy Fast Food should satisfy us until tomorrow’s breakfast. I’ve mentioned before how they have $7.00 Specials every Wednesday for the last few years, even with all the Rising Food Costs. Today, there was an apology sign, announcing a Dollar increase to $8.00. It was still worth every penny.
We arrived at Fantastic Sam’s with Twenty Minutes to spare. With the continuing Road Construction, Julia our Stylist, called the shop to say she was going to be late. Since we are regular customers, she didn’t want to keep us waiting, so we talked with Susan for an extra Ten Minutes. For some reason we all started talking and laughing about antics that we had experienced with Pets. We plan on talking more about them on our next visit.
Though
we were not really hungry because of our late lunch, the 95
F
(35
C)
Humidex
had us wanting something to cool down with. Since
there is no Ice
Cream
at home, we
stopped at Wendy’s
and took advantage of their .99
Cent Frosties
to
solve that problem.
On our way home from there, we ran into another Construction Detour, that was not in place yesterday.
The only thing we consumed at home, was our evening Medications. We also watched a couple episodes of “Forensic Files” before the “11 o’clock Local News”.
With nothing scheduled for tomorrow, we want to get out and do something different.

Krackers
After six months, I finally finished putting together my jigsaw puzzle.
They said it would take 2-4 years.
