Dental Day and Stubborn Tooth.

Our Location today is Apopka, Florida.

After staying up until midnight last night I was surprised that we both slept until after 8:00 this morning. So after having our breakfast Kathy took a few minutes reading E-mails while I went to shower and shave because I didn’t think I would be feeling up to it later.

Yesterday just before we left to go out for the evening the dentist office called to say my partial plate modification was complete and had been returned so now we could book the extraction. She said she had an appointment for 11:00 this morning so I said that would be fine.
We were there early and took us in at 10:30 so they started the prep for what was supposed to be a tooth that should just pop out. Each time the dentist would grasp the tooth the top of it would break off. Finally after an hour and a half she was able to get the last of the root out and the abscess came with it. It wasn’t just an extraction but surgery. She had never experienced that much difficulty with an extraction in her career so after putting in a couple of stitches and sent me on my way with instructions for the next 24 hrs.
Finally getting back to the trailer after 1:00 Kathy had a peanut butter sandwich while I had a bottle of boost and a pudding. When I said I didn't feel like working on the trailer today I was told not to even think of that today. Sitting at the computers this afternoon to relax and do my blog reading the temperature read 66F (19C) but with the constant breeze from the north we needed to shut our windows to keep warm. Tonight we are actually going to get freezing temperatures so I had to disconnect our water line for the night.

At Supper time Suzanne Donaldson called to see how I was doing as she was concerned  because of the amount of effort it took to remove that tooth. How many dentist worry about patients like that? Hopefully with each passing day my jaw will begin to feel less battered and we can get back to more adventures. Thanks for following along and feel free to leave a comment. Be Safe and Enjoy!

It’s about time.
