Making Progress With a Change of Plans

Our Location today is Apopka, Florida.

I got up around 7:30 to straighten my back and minutes later Kathy joined me at the computers so we got some of our reading in before breakfast. We noted that we didn’t have anything planned for today so the idea was for me to continue working on my projects that I had lined up.
Want to clean out your trailer or buy something the park is having a Yard Sale Day.
That all sounded great until I sat back at the computer and started researching for a place that we could purchase AGM batteries. For the last year and a half we have only had the single original deep cell battery that came with the trailer and just having a single battery when dry docking in the winter has caused us concern. So after I located online a shop nearby that carried AGM batteries fairly close to our location we changed our plans.
We both enjoy seeing and interacting with our neighbors pets.
After having lunch we set out to find this shop and to get our hair cut since the last time we had it done was January 2nd before we left. The GPS was acting up as far as finding the hair shop so by luck I just happen to spot a shop in one of the strip malls. A half hour later we walked out of the shop feeling much more lightheaded than we felt this morning.
Now the search was back on for Batteries Plus which was supposed to be very close. Being that we were on 435 and they were on 436 we listened to the GPS when told to turn the corner but when it brought us through a residential neighborhood and around the block we were really concerned. When the traffic light changed and we turned the corner and there less than five hundred feet on the right side of the road was the shop we were looking for. Weird but GPS got us to where we needed to be but the way it did it was questionable.
We also like Sunsets any way we can get them.
The shop only had one of the batteries we needed in stock so instead of ordering only one new battery they ordered two so they’d be the same age and work identically. They’ll give us a call when the batteries arrive in a week to ten days. Thirty minutes later we were back at the trailer and we had never left the same road.
The door now closes tightly at the frame.
Being that it was now past 3:30 I still wanted to get something done but didn’t want to start something to large to finish. Last spring I had hard wired in an Electrical Management System (EMS) in the trailer but because we were leaving soon on a trip I installed the remote monitor in our electrical control center outside of the panel. The problem was the switch pushed on the inside of the door keeping it slightly ajar at the top. After an hour it is now recessed the way it should have been and now the door closes tightly.
Kathy made up another delicious meal from the leftover meatloaf from last night and the leftover macaroni salad from the other day. They were still tasty and they didn’t go to waste. Thanks for following along and feel free to leave a comment. Be Safe and Enjoy!
