Tribute Night Out.

Our Location today is Apopka, Florida.

This morning we needed to turn on the heat to take the dampness out of the trailer but it wasn’t raining. Once a breakfast of hot cereal and double coffees was consumed we sat reading what was necessary at the computers.
Shortly after 11:00 we enjoyed an early lunch of the Taco Soup we made the other day which by sitting in the fridge the flavors accent one another better. There were many requests for the recipe the other day and Kathy does not measure anything so we will come up with the recipe in the near future and we’ll let you know it will be in the recipe tab of the blog.
After lunch I headed outside to install the AGM Batteries we got yesterday. I needed to empty the front storage before installing them as most of us are guilty at seeing an empty space and filling it. Guilty as charged. Kathy in the meantime wanted to rearrange the front closet.
Adding the two AGM Batteries today and there is still room for more because of the racks that I Built.
I always make my own cables using welding cable that I had picked up at home. I had also purchased copper lugs to install but I ran into a problem. The positive lug was larger than the negative on these AGM Batteries similar to the old car batteries. I tried modifying one lug but ended up destroying it. I finished what I could and figured I’d pick up the proper size when we headed to town. First stop at Advanced Auto Supply and I lucked out their shipment had just come in and hadn’t been unpacked yet.
Now we needed to grab supper out and even after stopping at one spot Kathy wasn’t happy but when we stopped at Steak and Shake for the third time in two weeks her face lit up. I think she’s getting addicted to good tasting food at reasonable prices.
After eating a fabulous meal plus dessert we headed to the Mount Dora Music Festival to see tonight’s performance of Matt Ryan and American Dream. They are rated as the World’s # 1 Tribute to Bruce Springsteen and the E Street Band. They were fantastic they started at 7:30 and after a fifteen minute break played the final set and return by the crowds urging to do an Encore set to close the show at 10:00. You know that there will be women dancing to the music they listened to through out their lives but when you see men that ambled in with canes dancing you know it was a great show.
Sorry for the Blurry pictures but there was no flash photography allowed. Thanks for following along and feel free to leave a comment. Be Safe and Enjoy!
