Dentist Day and Exploring.

Our Location today is Apopka, Florida.

Just like yesterday I got up around 7:30 to straighten my back and minutes later Kathy joined me at the computers so we got some of our reading in before breakfast. The only difference was that I had a 10:30 dental appointment to see what could be done with my tooth that broke off at the gum line.
Of course there was a ton of paper work that needed filling out. Dr. Suzanne Davidson was very thorough in her examination and was even going to suggest that I wait until I returned to Canada to fix the tooth until I mentioned the pain I occasionally felt from the broken tooth. At that point they did an X-ray which revealed the Abscess that had bothered me last May was still below the tooth. This infection would have erupted again soon because the tooth was its cause and was draining into the Abscess. I’ll be returning later this week to have the remainder of the tooth extracted once my partial plate has returned from being modified.
With no other plans we stopped at a nearby plaza because Kathy has been searching for a new pair of sandals since her sandals are starting to wear out. We found other things that we needed instead so the search would have to continue.
Kathy says it makes her feel like a Teenager going in there.
It was now time for lunch and since Kathy was so impressed the other day with Steak and Shake that we headed to a nearby outlet and enjoyed another reasonably priced and tasty meal. However today we had the same problem as last week we had half eaten our meals before thinking to take a picture of it but we did get the picture of dessert.
Play area inside the mall for preschoolers
While in the neighborhood we spotted another mall that we hadn’t seen before so we thought of getting in some walking in an Air Conditioned building as the temperature was at 84F (29C) by 1:00 and Kathy doesn’t do well in the heat. We spent an hour walking around but when we left we had found Kathy a pair of sandals that fit comfortably.
Meatloaf Sandwich and Soup.
After adding hydraulic fluid to our trailer’s system it was time for a nice warm bowl of soup and a meatloaf sandwich for supper. We then watched the movie Taken 2 that we missed seeing when it was at theaters last summer. We both agreed that the first Taken movie had more suspense to it but this one was still good.
Tomorrow has no plans so we’ll wait for the morning to see what we’ll be doing. Thanks for following along and feel free to leave a comment. Be Safe and Enjoy!

It’s about time.

Krackers

Doctor, doctor, I feel like a pair of curtains.

Well pull yourself together then.

  1. Glad Kathy found her sandals! It's hard to find just the right pair, especially if you are looking for a pair like the ones that just wore out. I spent months trying to replace a favorite pair. Finally I found some, at a rummage sale! LOL

Hope the tooth thing goes well....

We don't plan a lot of days just take them as they come.
