Not Making Plans Worked, Fun Visit and Broken Pedal.

Again we were up by 8:00 this morning and when I opened the Balcony Door the air was cool but not nearly as cold as yesterday. After a quick breakfast we were able to settle in at the Computers to enjoy our morning beverages. We didn’t dare make any Plans because it seems they have a way of not happening instead we said we’d try to do something this afternoon.
With upcoming procedures this week I no have to watch what I eat until their completion. For lunch we had Grilled Cheese and Bacon Sandwiches along with a small dessert plate. That appears out to be a fair amount of Calories but we knew we would easily be burning them off.
Minutes after 1:00 we were downstairs with our Tandem Bicycle and ready to start our adventure. After setting up the bike we were soon pedalling our way east on the Ganatchio Trail heading for the town of Tecumseh. After making the same trip last Sunday Kathy was more confident we’d have no problems reaching our destination.
He's spoiled.
It was around 1:40 when we arrived at our daughter’s house immediately where went into the backyard to visit on their Deck. Sanford once again enjoyed a deep massage from me and some Cookies from Kathy.

It was after 3:00 when we said our goodbyes but as we were about to leave one of the Folding Pedals broke off. These were the pedals from our Folding Tandem Bike that was destroyed when our Trailer was clipped in Mesa Arizona. Even though this is not a Folding Tandem Bike by putting these Pedals on this makes it easier to mount on the rear of our Trailer as well as getting into the Freight Elevator to bring up to our Apartment. After a little ingenuity the pedal was repaired enough for us to get back to our building but will have to be replaced.
Supper was Toast so we could finish the last of the Rhubarb Sauce so that it would not go bad. When it came time to watch the 6 o’clock Local News it was again preempted by a Golf Tournament.

We got caught up on our reading before watching The Good Witch then the 11 o’clock Local News. Not looking forward to it but I have to set the Alarm tonight. Thank you for following along and feel free to leave a comment.
Be Safe and Enjoy!

  1. What good exercise you both got by riding your tandem bike. Sanford is such a good dog! How old is he?

I can not believe how many times your local news are preempted by other events...probably they get more commercial revenue that way.
