Answering Quetions.

Our Location today is at Windsor, Ontario.

We both managed to sleep until nearly 8:00 this morning and the first thing I did was open our Balcony Door then immediately close it. After finishing breakfast and moving to the Computers the first thing I saw was the 48 F (9 C) temperature which was a little cooler then I was dressed for.
There were a number of things that had to be taken care of in preparation to my upcoming procedure this week along with some On-Line Communications.
When it came time for lunch we had Grilled Cheese Sandwiches garnished with Dill Pickles then topped off with Cherries and the last of the Chocolate Cake for dessert.
Carbonated Juice.
In a comment about last night’s Blog post Joe from the blog An Indian and a Gypsy noticed the Wine Bottle in the picture with the Pizza. Kathy is on Medications that would make it extremely dangerous for her to drink any kind of Alcoholic Beverage so we don’t. Kathy does get the craving for a nice glass of Wine now and a gain so this is a way for both of us to quell that urge. This is a Non-Alcoholic Sangria Sparkling Beverage produced in Spain under the label on Mayador. If you recall a short while back we lost a bottle of Carbonated Juice when leaving the Dollarama after the Clerk (making minimum wage) put Four Bottles in one bag rather then following my request of One per bag. The beauty is you can offer it to guests and not have to worry that they will get pulled over for a DUI.
Last night's supper with the Juice Bottle.
Marlene from the blog Marlene and Benno’s Odysseys on Land and Water actually realized that our Medium Sized Store Bought Thin Crust Pizzas were manufactured under the label of the Dr. Oetker brand. But considering that she lives about Fifty Miles from us in Leamington Ontario should explain that she is subjected to the same brand names that we are.
Another thing Marlene from the blog Marlene and Benno’s Odysseys on Land and Water thought was that we had Water in our Trailer’s Fresh Water Tank. The answer is No. The Trailer was totally Winterized last Fall right ahead of freezing cold temperatures and has not been Dewinterized yet. Kathy simply got rid of her morning Tea and gave a quick push of the Foot Pedal. Since there was already Antifreeze in the bowl the Seals are well lubricated. That liquid will probably evaporate through the Waste Tank Vent by the heat of the Summer and we don’t plan on making a habit of doing this kind of thing so we should be good until this Fall.
For supper we modified a Garden Salad then topped it off with a small dessert plate.
Our high for the day.
Since our Local News was preempted by a Golf Tournament we found a number of investigative reports titled “Inside Evil with Chris Cuomo”. For those who watch CNN you see Chris covering a number of things, This was not even on the CNN Channel. He was interviewing Serial Killers, Rape Victims, Victims of Domestic Abuse from a husband that was a former police officer that continues to threaten the life of his Family and Convicted Felons that were still behind bars long after they should have been set free. He asks the right questions to open everyone’s eyes as to a system that needs to be fixed. Each case was an Hour in length.

On the 11 o’clock Local News the number of Coronavirus Cases has again jumped in the Windsor/Essex area and all the cases are among the Migrant Farmer Workers who come from Mexico. The problem is that as long as this continues to happen the Provincial Government will not allow businesses in our area to open.

Tomorrow looks like a nice day for a Bike Ride. Thank you for following along and feel free to leave a comment.
Be Safe and Enjoy!

It’s about time.

  1. I had noticed your carbonated juice on another occasion. I have seen a similiar item at Dollar Tree but the bottle was smaller. May have to try it one of these days.

  2. Rick, thanks for the information on the Non-Alcoholic Sangria Sparkling Beverage.
Since Nancy and I don't drink wine we may have to try that beverage out.

  3. That's interesting. We have hundreds of migrants in our area now (it's planting season) with no increase in cases. In fact since opening back up, we have had NO increases in our County. Weird how that works in different places.

  4. With so many people unemployed and business closed permanently, there should be no need to bring people in from anywhere. We love Chris and have been impressed by his brother's handling of NY through this also.

  5. I am not sure what you meant with the phrase "making minimum wage". I hope you were not equating minimum wage with competence. Some of the stupidest people I have encountered made far more than the minimum. Oh wait, I think I get it, you were just expressing your gratitude for people who are willing to work for the minimum wage so you can enjoy huge savings on your shopping.
