Pleasant Surprise.

Our Location today is Windsor, Ontario.

After totaling Seven Hours of being connected to my CPAP Machines, I was feeling well rested when starting my day this morning.

The Sun was breaking through a veil of Clouds when I first opened the Balcony Blinds. By 9:00 there wasn’t a single Cloud left in the sky.

I’d barely gotten things ready for breakfast when Kathy came out to join me. It was early enough that we had Cereal and Breakfast Juice before taking our Coffees to the Computers. We also discussed things we needed to do in case the Forecast for wet weather would become a fact.

We were heading out the door by 11:30 with a list of things we needed to do. Knowing it could be late before we would get back home, we stopped at Wendy’s to have lunch. Luckily, we had Coupons to use, so we had a filling meal with a reasonable price.

Our next stop was Guardian Storage to collect our Mail, because we were waiting for Package. Instead, we found our Income Tax Refund that we are certain we had okayed for direct deposit. This was not expected, so we stopped at Motor City Community Credit Union to do some banking. Though we do this near the end of each month, these extra payments will bring down the principle.

Just like the end of the month, we then drove to the Bank to spread those eggs around. Walking in the line was long but one person stood out. We both retired from the Casting Plant on the same day. Even Sixteen Years later it was as if it was yesterday. We were catching up for the Ten Minutes it took to reach the Tellers.

We then headed back over to Dollarama to stock up. Since only buying enough Breakfast Juice to get by causes a problem, I am building a slight stockpile while we can.

Next, we went to Bulk Barn to get some Almonds and Cashews. Somehow, I had left the Coupons at home, but they gave a Senior’s Discount of Fifteen Percent because it was Wednesday.

There were still more supplies to get in the form of Produce, Meats and Frozen Foods, so we headed to Zehr’s grocery store. After that, there wasn’t much left of our Tax Refund.

It took Two Loads with our Folding Two Wheeled Shopping Cart, to bring everything up to our Apartment. The thing to remember is that a Fridge and Freezer can only hold so much.

After getting it all put away, we started getting caught up on our E-Reading. Before we knew it the 6 o’clock Local News was starting. Suddenly starting to feel hungry, we shared a Store-Bought Thin-Crust Medium Pepperoni Pizza for supper.

A while later we watched Chicago Med” then “Chicago Fire” and finally “Chicago P.D.”.

Not sure what we’ll be doing tomorrow, but we’ll be busy again.
