Unknown Callers.

Our Location today is Windsor, Ontario.

I managed to sleep most of the night with only one problem. Most of you probably thought right away that it was my Neck, but surprisingly you would be wrong. When I fell over in our Storage Unit, I seemed to have injured my Right Shoulder and it is not getting any better. Most of that is my fault, because I still have not seen a Doctor about it, nor do I take anything for the Pain at night. We do have an appointment with our Family Doctor in Two Weeks so we’ll see what he thinks.

After being connected between my Two CPAP Machines, the new one in the Bedroom and the old one by my Recliner, I felt rested after 7 Hours this morning, but it was my Shoulder that woke me up. It doesn’t matter what position I’m in, just like my Hip, the Pain did not stop.

The Sun was just breaking through the morning Clouds but there was no noticeable Wind like yesterday. Checking The Weather Network it showed the Gusts were less than half of yesterday’s breeze and it was coming from the Northwest (the front of the building).

I was reading the last of the Overnight Blogs we follow when Kathy came out to join me. She had a wonderful night’s sleep and felt well rested. Looking at the Time we settled for a snack to see us through the morning.

For lunch, we shared what I had Planned for breakfast, a Bacon/Veggie Omelette with a second cup of Coffee.

It seemed we were getting Unknown Number Calls that we didn’t need. Duct Cleaners, Lawn Care, Political Surveys just to name a few. Others that I have no idea who they are was due to a trick that I’ve learned. Many are randomly dialed by a Computer and as soon as you say “Hello”, someone comes on the line trying to sell or scam you. Kathy does not like it when I simply answer the call without saying a word. About Ten Seconds later the Computer will hang up. That’s the best way to answer those Unknown Numbers.

I went down to speak with the Manager in the Office only find out that she wasn’t in. Mike, the Assistant Manager was in and was able to give me a form to fill in for Maintenance Repairs to our Apartment. The problem is, the form is the size of a Post-It Note, and we have a List.

Our daughter Karen called while on her way home, to see how we were doing and to say how nice the weather was. Her Hands Free Unit does a great job.

The 6 o’clock Local News had just started when we shared Store-Bought Thin-Crust Medium Pizza. Since our day was not as active as yesterday, we didn’t need anything more.

We later watched Will Trent”, “The Rookie” and “Criminal Minds”.

Since we didn’t go far today, and there is Rain coming for the weekend, I think we’ll be going out tomorrow. (Notice I didn’t say Planned)

Thanks for following along and feel free to leave a comment, unless it personally attacks someone for their opinion, or is Spam.

  1. You better learn to write very small on both sides of that paper if you are going to get everything written on that paper!

  2. How about attaching your list to the note? Keep a copy of your list at home.

  3. The past week I have been getting phone calls for people looking for my husband who passed away more than 20 years ago. Most are companies selling assistive devices. Someone is selling a LONG out of date mailing list.
