Girls Day, Packed Parking and Shazam.

Our Location today is Windsor, Ontario.

The roller coaster ride continues but last night it was on the positive side. Though I bounced between my Recliner and the Bed, I managed to get sleep each time.

I’ve heard people complain about switching back and forth between Daylight Savings Time and Standard Daylight Time. I have to agree but for an entirely different reason. After the house we owned was set on fire by Teenage Arsonists, we replaced our large display Digital Clocks we lost in 2004. That was when they sprung forward Three Weeks later and fell back was the last week of October automatically. Savings Time was later updated to what we have today. The problem is that our Digital Clocks are set to the old timing, so they have to be advanced manually, then later when they automatically spring forward Three Weeks later, they have to be pushed back to the correct Daylight Savings Time.

When I woke in my Recliner, the Livingroom Digital Clock read 5:00 in the morning, I figured it would be nice to finish the night in Bed. My bedside digital clock showed it was only 4:00 while even the Other Large Digital Clock showed 5:00, so I knew what had happened. I waited until Sunshine in my eyes woke me, before adjusting those Two Clocks to the proper time. Now I only have to wait until Fall to go through the same thing in reverse.

Knowing she had an appointment today, Kathy followed me into the Livingroom at 7:30 this morning. Not knowing what time she’d be having lunch, we enjoyed French Toast for breakfast.

Thinking this would be a great day for me to think of myself as well, so I packed a Gym Bag to go.

Our first stop was our daughter’s house in Tecumseh where Kathy and our daughter-in-law Melissa would join Karen on a Girls Day Out. They do this to check out Plants and Flowers along with small gift shops.

We also got to visit with Greg, Tyler and Jess, before the Girls hit the road.

My Plan was to start getting back into exercising, to hopefully help my Hip, Neck, Back and Shoulder healing. When I arrived at Planet Fitness, there wasn’t an available parking spot in their lot and looking across the street at the Mall that remains closed until noon on Sundays, it was already half full. Looking inside through the windows, I could not see an empty machine in the building, as a fact people were waiting to get inside.

I drove over to Burger King to have an early lunch, before heading for home.

In the Apartment, after cleaning up the morning Dishes, I chopped up a Cantaloupe that we’ll share for snacks and desserts. I also continued by cleaning, slicing and boiling a Celery Root.

I finally had to open the Balcony Door because the Apartment felt like an Oven. I hate not having control of our heat.

I manged to find a “Harry Potter” movie on so I listened to that while getting some Blog Reading done. I also managed to write a message to our friends Wayne in Sue in Washington State.

Kathy walked in just before 5:00 all excited over her day out and the fun she had with the Girls.

We enjoyed the Celery Root for supper, then shared some snacks that Kathy brought in from her adventure.

We watched a few episodes of “Criminal Minds” before watching a super-hero movie called “Shazam”. Cute and surprisingly a lot of action.

Hopefully going to Planet Fitness throughout the week won’t be such a problem.

  1. If Kathy had so much fun with the girls, maybe you can treat her to some outings also that are different and fun filled.
