Slowly Getting Ready.

Our Location today is Tecumseh, Ontario, Canada.

When Kathy got up after 8:00 this morning and found me sound asleep she thought it strange but at the same time figured that I needed my sleep. She was totally correct considering that I had been awake most of the night. Once I finally woke after 8:30 my eyes had trouble staying open while I ate breakfast.

As soon as we were finished Kathy went to the computer while I started sorting laundry. It has been over a week so it was due. By the time I got downstairs there were only a few machines available but I managed. Going back to the apartment while the clothes were in the dryers I managed a few phone calls. It was nearly 1:30 by the time we sat down for lunch.

Once the clothes were put away we planned on going to the trailer but stuck around the apartment for a while. The reason was that I had bid on an item on E-Bay the other day and at the last second lost to a higher bid. The next morning I saw the same item relisted as a new listing so I just monitored it. This afternoon at 14:47 I entered a bid and then was able to set an automatic bid in place. At 14:48 I had successfully won the auction buying the same product that I had missed the other day and saved myself $40.00 in the process. As soon as I authorized the payment I contacted the seller asking him to delay the shipment for one week so it wouldn’t arrive while we are away. A reply indicated he was more than happy to oblige and hoping I enjoy my purchase.
Squirrels have really been busy since last winter.

When we left we stopped at the Green Shield where Kathy dropped off her claim form for the Happy Heals treatment she had yesterday. The cheque should be waiting for us when we return from our trip in two weeks.

Temporary workshop in our living room.
It didn’t take us long to go to the trailer and get the few things we needed. The tools I got were put to immediate use to make further progress on modifying the CPAP compartment doors for the trailer. Now with a few more adjustments in the morning I should be able to install them before we leave on Monday.

Kathy made a wonderful Salmon Fruit Salad that we both found to be more than enough to eat for supper considering we ate a late lunch. Thanks for following along and feel free to leave a comment. Be Safe and Enjoy!
