Even though I started the night tipped back in my Recliner, I finished the night sleeping in Bed. The best part was waking up feeling refreshed, because I was connected to my CPAP Machines in both locations. Another good thing is the more time that I spend in Bed, Kathy subconsciously senses my presence, which allows her a better night’s sleep as well.
There was one slight problem though, I slept so well, even after getting things ready for a quick snack for breakfast, I had to take the time to have my morning Coffee, before I could clearly concentrate. That added to more time lost on what I had Planned for today. Another thing that slowed things down, was Kathy’s continued need to use my Cane. Luckily, I can get around the Apartment without it, but the moment I step into the Hallway, it’s my Lifeline. Even the Hip Surgeon told me to never leave home without it.
I have mentioned before that we had a lot of Clothes when we were Fulltiming, so we never had to worry about scheduling to do our laundry. Being back in this Apartment, we seem to have gotten even more. Some because we could, and others out of necessity. Since my Surgery, the Surgeon, the Physiotherapist, even my Family Doctor have all been telling me to stay away from the Gym. Loss of activity leads to Weight Gain, which leads to clothes of a larger size.
Today, our Laundry Hamper was bulging at the seams and needed help. After sorting our Clothes, the Bedding and the Towels, I was on my way to the Second Floor Laundry Room. Since Kathy needed my Cane, I was using my Hiking Stick. I also used it in the early days of my Hip Issues and had been stored in our Storage Room since. Downstairs, I didn’t leave it out of my reach as one guy offered to buy it.
I had figured that now kids are back to School and most parents had gone back to work, it would be clear sailing. What I did not count on, were New Tenants working the off-shift. It was back to starting with a couple of Washers, before moving on to the dryers, while reloading the same Washers. On my second return to the Apartment, we shared a Store-Bought Thin-Crust Medium Canadian Pizza for lunch.
I mentioned to Kathy that I needed to move Clothes around and would be back as I headed out the door. When I returned Two Hours later with all the laundry folded, I needed to sit for my Back’s Sake. Kathy, believed that she Snapped (Short Nap) for nearly a Half Hour, from the discomfort in her Knee. We waited until later to put everything away.
We enjoyed Perogies for supper, while we watched the “6 o’clock Local News”. The Weather Guesser suggests getting our errands done early tomorrow as a way of avoiding Flurries.
We later watched “Caught On Dashcam”. If you ever enjoyed the “Funniest Home Videos”, you will like this and it moves much faster.
In an effort to avoiding tomorrow’s Flurries, I’m going to sleep earlier.

Did I tell you about the time I fell in love during a backflip?
I was heels over head.
