I did not get to bed quite as early last night, but once again I managed to get a good night’s sleep. Kathy tried taking my Blankets around 3:30 saying she was cold, but so was my back. After I took back a few inches of Blankets to completely cover over, she turned away, covering herself with the Blankets she had been cuddling before. The rest of the night was so good that it took a Telemarketer calling at 8:00 this morning to bring it all to an end.
I barely had time to open the Balcony Door Blinds when Kathy came out to join me. There had been some Showers overnight, but it appeared that the pavement was starting to dry. The first thing I did was to check The Weather Network to find the 37 F (3 C) temperatures would be our high for the day. The chart showed the temperature dropping by the Hour.
It was not even 10:00 when I looked out the Door to see Flurries falling, but with the earlier temperatures still filling the air, it would take Hours before the landscape began to change colour. That was also the time I realized that we did not have breakfast yet, so we each had a Pastry with a Breakfast Juice to wash down our Morning Medications. We took our Coffees to our Computers to get caught up on our reading.
In answer to a Comment, we will be getting Kathy her own Cane tomorrow, but I will have to teach her how to use it on wet floors. As for me using the Hiking Pole, that was only a temporary thing, because using that on wet floors or Ice would be more disastrous than a Cane.
It was past 1:30 before we had Homemade Italian Salads for a late lunch. Looking out the Balcony Door the Flurries were so intense that we could not see the Balcony Railing.
It has been a couple of weeks since we soaked our feet in an Epson Salts Foot Bath. After taking care of Kathy’s Feet for years, a Badly Curled Toenail, is finally starting to flatten out. The warmth of the Water, helped to ease my discomfort as well.
The Weather Guesser on the “6
o’clock Local News” did not have any good news to tell
us. I should not complain, because as a child I remember walking a
Mile to School in Knee
Deep Snow. I was shorter and did not have to walk up any Hills,
but when I got home, I had the Local Newspaper to deliver.
Even when Kathy and I owned houses, there was a lot of shoveling to
do multiple times per week. Being near the most southern part of
Canada, we are often referred to
as Canada’s Florida.
It was past 7:00 when we each had a Trail Bar for our supper.
We watched “Chicago Med”, “Chicago Fire” and “Chicago P.D.” this evening.
Looking outside moments ago, things are very White with more to come the rest of this week. We’ll see what tomorrow has in store for us.

I don’t play soccer because I enjoy the sport.
I’m just doing it for kicks!
