Bad Roads and Downed Power-Lines.

Our Location today is Windsor, Ontario.

Knowing that we had a morning appointment today, I made certain to set the Alarm before Kathy went to Bed. I basically joined her Two Hours later, where I spent the rest of my night. Of course, I was awake before the Alarm went off, so I was able to get cleaned up and dressed before waking Kathy. She requires more sleep than I do, so was really surprised when watching the News, they showed a Study that stated most women require more sleep then men.

Though I had told Kathy to wait until I cleaned the Car to pick her up at the rear entrance to our building, I was just putting the Brush away when she joined me in the Parking Lot.

Driving down Riverside Drive was quite the challenge, because the Plows had not scraped the pavement clean. Then Three Blocks to the west the road was closed due to Downed Power-Lines. The only road that had been properly cleaned today was the Expressway, the rest were a mess.

Since we did not have breakfast before leaving this morning, we stopped at the city’s west-end Wendy’s, where we had Breakfast Wraps and a Coffee. Because it had taken much longer to get across town, we took the Coffees with us.

We arrived at our Family Doctor’s Office, to find the vacant office in his building being renovated. We barely sat down and were call in. We did have to wait about Ten Minutes, but amused ourselves talking about the Anatomy Charts that were on the wall. George was able to review Test Results we have had recently and verify what I have suspected about the BP Machine at the Pain Clinic, it is not calibrated properly. George also verified that my going to the Gym would help me recover as long as I do not overdo the exercises.

When we left there, we stopped at Guardian Storage to collect our Mail and a Package. Their parking area had been properly cleaned, but nothing else had arrived.

From there we headed to Dyna-Care blood services in Tecumseh. The last time Kathy had her blood tested, some of her numbers were high. By our having eaten very lightly this morning, should turn those numbers around.

It was nearing 1:00 so we stopped at the Wendy’s nearest our home, where we enjoyed their Chicken Nuggets for lunch. The owner of that plaza had it clean as a summer’s day.

This morning, the Wind had been blowing from the Northwest, so we did not hear it blowing in our Apartment. Later this afternoon the Wind shifted to the Southwest, so we know when it is blowing. The Weather Guesser on the “6 o’clock Local Newsforecasted that these Winds could bring our actual temperature down to -26 F (-30 C) by tomorrow morning. Our high today was 19 F (-7 C) but not tomorrow.

I forgot to defrost meat for supper tonight so we shared a Store-Bought Thin-Crust Medium Chicken Pizza for a late supper.

We later watched a few episodes of “Forensic Files”.
