Our Location today is Windsor, Ontario.

Though I managed to spend plenty of time resting last night, after chocking on my own spit, I did manage to sleep between the multiple visits in both my Bed and Recliner.
As a Canadian, one thing we tend to watch, especially during the Winter is the Weather. Yesterday’s forecast showed that we could expect a wet afternoon today. Though we did not get out the door until after 9:30, with Kathy using my Cane, while I used my Hiking Stick, the Wind was gusting to 39 MPH (60 KLM) so I had Kathy wait at the rear entrance before picking her up.
We managed to be eating breakfast at Wendy’s moments later. Being regular customers, we enjoyed Two Bacon Breakfast Wraps and Two Coffees for a reasonable price of $4.20. We didn’t stay too long, because we were on a time crunch.
We stopped at the Dollarama that we have patronized the most, since living in our present Apartment. Thinking that we would be out of there in a matter of minutes, left us with our mouths hanging, when we walked in. Having not come to this location last week, we were shocked to see the inside totally rearranged. They removed the Crossover Aisles, which means you have to walk the entire length of the store if you need things from different Aisles. I think we’ll be shopping at the smaller outlets in the future. Some things were forgotten because they were in sections being reorganized by masses of workers.
Next, we headed to the Zehr’s grocery store. We picked up lots of Produce and Frozen Foods before leaving.
Earlier when we left Wendy’s, Paula said she would see us tomorrow. I said we would see her for lunch today. The place was packed, Paula was working the Drive-Thru Window, a new girl was working the cashier, and the Area Manager who I have seen at other locations, was going around the Kitchen shouting orders at people. Glad my working days are over.
We are more fortunate then some at this time, since Eating, whether at Home or Out has become hard to do. That is why so many Restaurants have and will continue to close. Luckily, Coupons saved us more cash.
From there we headed for home, where I swapped the Walking Stick for my Cane, before dropping Kathy at the front entrance. After parking the Car, it took some imagination on how to pack our Two Wheeled Folding Shopping Cart, with all our purchases. I’m glad I had my Cane or I would have not made it.
Though I walked in the Apartment dry at 1:05, I immediately saw water dripping from our Balcony Railing, along with a very wet Parking Lot. Once the Frozen Foods were put away, I needed to sit for a bit. Once I felt better, the remainder was put away.
The “6 o’clock Local News” showed a sudden change to Colder and Wet Weather heading our way for the next week.
We later watched a few “Season Premiers” this evening. Not sure what we’ll be up to tomorrow.
