Still Made It On Time.

Our Location today is Windsor, Ontario.

Since I had a 10:00 appointment this morning, I made certain to set the Alarm on my Bedside Table for 8:00 before writing the Blog. After a brief nap in my Recliner, I headed off to Bed, Planning to be awaken up by the Alarm. With the cold outside temperatures and the Summer Sheets that Kathy put on the Bed as I did the Laundry on Monday, I barely stayed there for an Hour before my Neck and Shoulder Pain was too much. After a quick glance at the time, I figured I would be back between the sheets in Two Hours. The Pain had subsided by the time I opened my eyes and saw the Livingroom Clock reading 9:07.

Within a minute I was waking Kathy in the Bedroom, before shutting the Alarm that had been going off for over an Hour. Our breakfast was our Morning Juice, so we could swallow our Medications before heading out the door, with our own Canes.

Kathy actually waited inside the rear entrance while I retrieved the Car from the Lot. It was moderately cold but the South Wind made it feel much worse.

Luckily, the City Crews had been plowing the roads the entire night, so we made great time on Riverside Drive, before heading south on Howard Avenue. We walked in to our Optometrist’s Office just as the Receptionist was calling my name. Since before having the Lasik Eye Surgery before Christmas, I have been struggling with my Computer Glasses. David was surprised when I pulled a Tape Measure from my pocket so he could see what Focal Point was needed for the new Straight-Line Bifocal Lens.

What I did not mention earlier, was the fact that this Parking Lot was also not Plowed either. Because the Sun had not broke through the Clouds and the temperature was still below Freezing, we were not walking in Slush.

Though we had not had Breakfast, we stopped at Taco Bell to have lunch since we were so late. We felt comfortably satisfied before heading for home, but by the time we got there, we were hungry again. We settled for a Cookie to tide us over until supper.

After getting home we did our best to catch up on our Computer Reading. I had just finished checking the forecast on The Weather Network around 2:00 when we were hit with more Flurries. It was finished by 3:00.

The Weather Guesser on the “6 o’clock Local News” wishes his forecast were not so accurate, but there is no improvement for the next Seven Days.

We finally shared a Store-Bought Thin-Crust Medium Chicken Pizza for supper, before watching a few episodes of “Law and Order” to finish off our day. Not sure what we will be doing tomorrow.

Thanks for following along and feel free to leave a comment, unless it personally attacks someone for their opinion, or is Spam.

Be Safe and Enjoy!

Krackers

Someone complimented my parking today.

They left a sweet note on my windshield that said. “Parking Fine.”
