That Was A Switch.

Our Location today is Windsor, Ontario.

Other than needing a few extra moments at getting ready to sleep, I was tipped back in my Recliner shortly after publishing the Blog last night. Less than an Hour later I was holding hands in Bed with Kathy. I shocked myself by waking minutes after 8:00 this morning but left Kathy to get the extra few minutes that she needed.

Unlike yesterday it was slightly warmer probably due to the bright Cloudless sky, but the Northeast Winds were shaking the trees even more aggressively. Checking the Radar, there was a circle of Clouds miles past all the surrounding waterways.

French Toast for breakfast more than filled us until a late lunch. Still trying to clean up our freezer, we shared a Store-Bought Thin-Crust Medium Spinach Pizza with Olives for the meal. Since it was only minutes away from Rush-Hour, fill with School Busses, we waited even longer before hitting the road.

Going out the rear entrance of our building, the Bitter Cold Wind had us nearly running to our Car. Not only was it Cold but the 25 MPH Gusts aided our strides. You know it's Cold when you appreciate the warmth inside the Car, even when it hasn't run in a few days. Looking to the sky, there were massive Clouds heading our way.

Due to the extra delay, our original Plans were shelved. Instead, we headed straight to Wendy's to have supper, arriving minutes before Paula ended her shift.

After doing more People Watching, we finally headed over to the nearby Dollarama. We were able to restock some of our supplies, but others had empty spots on the shelves. We even started rebuilding our stockpile of Cough Drops that we'll need to get through the coming Winter.

At Zehr's grocery store, we took our time getting Produce and Dairy, before wandering through the canned good. Finally, before leaving we hit the Frozen Foods Section. We were cold, just loading everything in the Car.

Hitting the road, we were surprised how little traffic there was, but quick glance at the time showed it was past 6:00, which meant Rush Hour was over.

Heading for home, I was a little disappointed that we hadn't gotten everything on our Shopping List. Since we didn't need to worry about our Frozen Foods thawing, I suggested to Kathy we stop at the Dollarama closest to home.

I've noted that if one of these two locations does not have what we want, most times the other one does. That notation was proven correct as we headed for home with everything on our List.

With so much in the Car, we parked by the rear entrance to our building for unloading. Using our Folding Two Wheel Shopping Cart, we froze as we took Three Trips to bring everything up to the Apartment. Kathy stayed inside while I went to park the Car. Instead of facing the Cold Wind, I walked to the front entrance, where there was none.

After spending nearly an Hour putting things away, we called it a day. The canned goods can wait until the morning.

We finally watched "High Potential" before the "11 o'clock Local News".

We've got another busy day tomorrow.
