It seems that whenever I believe my Sleep Issues are finally improving, the next day it goes backwards. I've said this before and now I have to say it again, I tossed and turned most of last night.
As per usual, it was only minutes after I started getting things ready for breakfast when Kathy came out to join me. After a breakfast snack we took our Coffees over to the Computers, to get caught up on our E-Reading.
The first thing I did after a sip of my Coffee was to text our grandson Connor, to wish him a Very Happy Birthday. Hard to believe Twenty Years has passed since that wonderful day.
On Friday, our daughter Karen called to invite us for the Family Thanksgiving get-together, so we marked it on our Calendars for Monday. That meant that I was going to make our contribution to the meal this afternoon, allowing it to meld the flavours overnight, before serving it at the meal. So, when she called today to confirm the Time as well as telling me there would only be Five of us there, so not to bother with our dish, I simply thought that it was saving me some work, and we'd see them tomorrow.
Since our breakfast snack had worn off, Kathy and I shared a filling Bacon/Veggie Omelette for lunch. We finished our meal, cleaning up the Dishes and Kitchen before settling back at the Computers.
Minutes after 4:00, Karen called again asking if we were coming for supper. When I said, "Yes tomorrow", She responded, "No today"! We were out the door within minutes. Karen called because we are never late, always early.
The reason for celebrating today, was our granddaughter who is a Trauma Nurse at Henry Ford Hospital in Detroit, had to leave for work at 6:00. She had the chance to relate some of the cases that she has been exposed to, mostly due to the Gun Violence the area is faced with. We got extra Hugs before she was again heading across the International Border.
Karen made certain to send us home with some of the Goodies that she had leftover.
This has taught me, not to presume what day our celebrations will be on. Next time I won't just verify the time.
We watched a few episodes of "Forensic Files" before calling it a night. Hopefully, this will be a better night for the both of us.

Words of Inspiration
My father used to say, “Well, Ann, maybe the best thing you’ll ever do, you haven’t even thought of yet.”
