I did manage to get to sleep early in my Recliner for nearly Two Hours, so I figured my time in Bed would be equally as restful.
I've mentioned that both Kathy and I have Sleep Apnea and use CPAP Machines to sleep. With my old CPAP set up next to my Recliner, my new CPAP is set up near my Bed I thought I had it made. One thing that really wakes you up Gasping, is when the CPAP shuts down, normally from a Power Outage. As I was sleeping soundly, my CPAP Machine did shut down but it showed the Power was still on. Kathy's CPAP was still working and she was sleeping undisturbed. It only took a simple touch of the button, for me to fall back to sleep.
The strange part of this mystery is, I was laying on my left side with my back towards the Machine and it is not easy to shut off.
Though I had set the Alarm, I slept most of the night and started my day by 7:30. After getting things ready, I had Kathy's Banana/Chocolate Chip Pancake cooking before I woke her up. She sat at the table just as I was serving her meal. We avoided having our morning Coffees until later in the day.
We arrived shortly after 10:00 for the appointment with our Family Doctor. He agreed with my suspicion, that Kathy had reacted to the Lorazepan even at a weaker dosage on Saturday. Since the MRI was ordered through the Specialist, he has yet to get the results but will let us know as soon as he finds out. I complained about the drowsiness that I'm experiencing from the Medication from the Pain Clinic. He advised me how to safely decrease it. My BP was 120/80, while Kathy' was 139/70, which is still better than the 220 she used to have.
We then headed to the CAA Insurance to check things out. We had been sent a letter, just before Canadian Postal Workers went back "On Strike". It meant nothing but I'll have to watch next year.
Next, with the Gasoline Prices being low this week, we stopped at the Pioneer gas station to top off the Car.
Finally, we stopped at Arby's to have something different for lunch. As soon as Wanda saw me, she asked where Kathy was. She had a Nature Call and soon joined me. It seems we do this a lot lately, we go into any Fast-Food location that is hardly busy but the moment we sit down to eat, the place really fills up.
A quick stop at Dollarama for one thing, turned into a bit more, but we were still able to carry it up to the Apartment.
With everything put away, I was trying to catch up on my morning Blog Reading but kept having trouble reading through my closed eye lids.
We settled for a Home-Made Salad for supper, only to find the Salad Dressings had gone bad.
After a delayed start due to "Monday Night Football", we watched the "11 o'clock Local News". It looks like we'll be losing the Summer Heat starting tomorrow, with the help of lots of Rain.
