Got Her Calls, Pizza Out and Shopping For Kathy.

Our Location today is Windsor, Ontario.

It felt good that we were out of bed, starting our day within minutes of one another. I took that time to text our daughter Karen, explaining why Kathy wasn't answering her phone yesterday.

Though we kept our morning snack light, our Breakfast Juice and Morning Coffees, still helped to get us motivated.

We waited until the clock struck noon before heading out. We figured that would give those who still work the ability to purchase their lunches, without someone who is no hurry, to interfere with their limited breaktime.

With the temperature at 52 F (11 C) at the time, most people were wearing long pants and jackets. There were a few, still braving the elements. I remember doing the same thing years ago, until it dipped below 41 F (5 C).

We normally try to keep our costs down but occasionally like to splurge. Watching television in the evening does not help either, when they constantly bombard you with commercials. You often read how we share Store-Bought Thin-Crust Medium Pizzas and modify them by adding ingredients as well. Today we went to Domino's Pizza to try to take advantage of the relentless advertising they do. Unfortunately, to get that discount, you need to go On-Line to their site, enter all your information. They then issue you a Code, that you take to the outlet to collect your order. To me, I don't want my information out where it should not be. With a yearning for Fresh Pizza, we ordered one to our liking, for only Two Dollars more than advertised. We sat inside at their countertop and enjoyed every bite, while people watching.

With the Sun shining brightly, we did not want to rush to get back home. Instead, we went to Walmart to look for some clothes for Kathy. The last time we did this, I was the one who walked away with clothes. Every time we saw something that Kathy liked, she was going to leave it behind, because she didn't know if it would fit. That's the same excuse she always uses, but since we were directly across from the Fitting Rooms today, that excuse did not hold up. After I picked up some groceries, Kathy walked out with Two Pair of Pants and a nice Vest.

We were able to carry those purchases up to our Apartment. Our lunch had been so filling that we only had our evening Medications for supper.

We watched "Law and Order" before watching a delayed version of the "11 o'clock Local News". Their Weather Guesser showed we had reached high of 15.5 C (60 F) today and will cool down to 3 C (37 F) overnight, leading into our Canadian Thanksgiving Weekend.
