Right Side Up

Our Location today is Windsor, Ontario.

With a positive spin on the sleeping roller coaster, we both had a good night's sleep. The only problem was that because of the bad nights we've experienced, it seemed too short. It would have been nice if we could have slept later, but we had a morning appointment.

It was 7:45 when I started my day. After opening the Blinds, I started making the Coffee and getting our Breakfast Snack ready. When Kathy refused to get up, I did the most terrible thing possible to wake her up, I pulled the Bedcovers off her head and kissed her. By the time I was serving the Coffee, she was at the table for breakfast.

Still using Kathy's old Computer this morning, I tried accessing my E-Mail, so that I could do my Questionnaire. With no luck with that we simply had to leave a little earlier to take care of business. Outside, everyone was wearing Jackets, Hoodies or Sweats for the colder temperatures.

Taking the Parkway to the Expressway had us arriving at the Canadian Blood Services building in a fair amount of time. That also meant that I was able to fill in my Questionnaire at the Kiosk inside.

When they decided to only take Plasma Donations a couple years back, many of the Whole Blood Donors refuse to return. The big problem was that most of those were the ones with Rare Blood Types. Starting this week, all Plasma Donation Centers have to have Two Cots for Whole Blood Donations and all the Whole Blood Donation Centers have to have Two Cots for Plasma Donations.

When donating Whole Blood, there is an Eight Week Rest Period between donations, but the process takes less than Thirty Minutes. You can donate Plasma every Seven Days, but it could take up to Ninety Minutes. Either way, you could be saving a life and each donation will help Four Patients, and your body will produce a fresh supply for the next time. I walked out after making my 156th Donation.

As we were leaving Kathy mentioned feeling hungry, so I figured there were more Fast-Food places on Walker Road, so that's where we headed. Having brought my Laptop with me, I told Kathy the name PC Outlet to look for. We were barely off the Expressway and there it was.

I explained the problem to Kevin and within Two Minutes he had it working the way it should. Knowing that my Windows 10 is no longer supported by Microsoft, I was inquisitive of what Computers they had to meet my needs. $$$$$. It wasn't until after I left that I realized, it's been Nine Years since I stopped using Microsoft. Kathy's old Laptop was Microsoft, and I was having problems operating it yesterday.

Wanting something different to eat we made a quick stop at Arby's for lunch. We ate from their Two for Five Dollar Menu and were quite satisfied.

We headed for home so we could get caught up on our E-Reading. It felt good to have my Laptop back the way it used to be.

After sharing a Store-Bought Thin-Crust Medium Veggie Pizza for a late supper, we watched the 1990 movie "Ghost", with Patrick Swayze, Demi Moore and Whoopi Goldberg. We both remembered feeling like that, after loosing our former mates.

The "11 o'clock Local News" is showing a bigger cool down heading our way.

Not sure what we'll be up to tomorrow.

Did you hear about the restaurant on the Moon?

Great food, no atmosphere.
