After just over an Hour in my Recliner last night, I would spend another Seven Hours in Bed. It seems that as long as I continue to take the Prescription Medications, for something unrelated, I am able to get a decent night’s sleep.
Since I had an appointment today, we kept breakfast lite. I rushed to drink my Coffee at my Computer, having it finished just as I finished checking over “The Weather Network”.
Under Cloudy skies we were out the door, just before noon. At first, I thought we could easily grab a bite for lunch before my appointment, but that would have been too rushed. Instead, we arrived Thirty Minutes before my appointed time at a 5th Clear Imagining location in the city of Windsor that I have had to get medical imaging done. Unfortunately, we found a note on the door and a Waiting Room full of patients waiting for the return of the Receptionist, from her lunch break.
As
soon as she returned some of the recent walk-ins jumped to the front
of the line, but the Receptionist
immediately shouted out she wanted only those who already had an
appointment for Ultra-Sounds.
That
left only Five
of
us standing and by the time she logged each
of us
in, Technicians
started calling us back.
I
was surprised that I was brought directly into the Testing Room.
For
the next Fifteen
Minutes I
was twisted into positions that only amplified the Shoulder
Pain.
Glad
that he couldn’t hear what I was thinking. When
he said I was done, I asked why he had not done the Bicep,
because of the Reflective
Pain.
His response was, it isn’t the Muscle
causing
the Pain,
but I have to get that from my Family
Doctor.
This has only taken Two Months after the X-ray for this appointment and since our Family Doctor is presently on vacation, we’ll see him in another month, because we hate always having Medical Appointments. That will be approximately Five Months after the Injury itself. I’ll just keep gritting my teeth.
It was past 2:00 when we arrived at Wendy’s for a late lunch. We surely would not be eating out this much if it weren’t for the Coupons, that save us close to Forty Percent. If we had stopped to eat before my appointment, I would have been late.
Before heading for home, we stopped at Shoppers Drug Mart to pick up a few things.
Back at the Apartment we got caught up on our reading and would lose track of time. It was 7:30 before we shared a Store-Bought Thin-Crust Medium Hawaiian Pizza for supper.
We later watched a few episodes of “Forensic Files” before watching the “11 o’clock Local News”. Ironically, they had a Criminal Historian on, that wrote how following the Second World War, the city of Windsor had its very own Slasher. When the Slasher was convicted of the Five Crimes, he was sentenced as Criminally Insane. Looks like Windsor has Ghosts in its closets.
