Though I could have slept later than 7:30 this morning, I seemed compelled to get an early start. Once things were ready to quickly make breakfast, I got busy reading the Blogs that were published overnight. I was in the process of checking “The Weather Network” for our area when Kathy came out to join me.
We simply enjoyed Blueberry covered Cereals for breakfast. Kathy then enjoyed her morning Coffee at her Computer, while I let mine cool while I brought out our Medication Bag and started getting ready for a busy afternoon. When I finally sat at my Computer, I was busy opening the Medication Spreadsheet, that I use for tracking what Medications and Vitamins we have in stock or need to get.
For lunch we enjoyed Perogies, knowing they would make us feel satisfied, without the need to overeat. We then worked together cleaning up the dishes. We are the Dishwashers, because that was the way we were raised. As far as we are concerned, we save Water, Electricity and Time. Kathy often complains that she burns her hands while wiping the steaming dishes I have just cleaned. This also helps to clean my Hands, before I spend the next Few Hours, filling our up Pill Doucettes for the next Six to Seven Weeks.
It took a bit longer today, because Kathy’s Cardiologist changed the strength of some of her Prescriptions. It also took longer as I poured the matching Vitamins, into a single bottle instead of the Four they came in. I hate when they overpackage. Due to the Laws we have to observe when crossing the International Border, we had to transport everything in the original packaging. That also meant I could not do up all the Doucettes before the crossing, but I always did a Two-Day cheat. The first day on the road, we always wanted to get some mileage behind us. The next day I was busy filling up Forty-Five Days' worth of Pill Doucettes, which meant that this chore was not always being done on Saturdays. The next day on the road, we would find a place to Recycle all the overpackaging.
After taking nearly Three Hours to complete both of our Doucettes, I took a break, but when I went to update the Mediation Spreadsheet, my eyes kept closing.
Looking outside, confirmed the sound I had heard earlier was Thunder and things were starting to dry up.
It was close enough when we shared a Store-Bought Thin-Crust Medium Hawaiian Pizza for supper.
With the extra energy, I finished my Data Entries and even packed away the Case until the next time. I also know there are Three Vitamins that will need to be purchased before September.
We later watched a few episodes of “Forensic Files” for the night.
Tomorrow should be much busier.
