Losing Bloggers and Changing Times.

I’m starting to get used to these split sleep nights, between my Recliner and Bed. When my Shoulder Pain got to be too much this morning, I knew that it was time to start my day.

I busied myself getting things ready for breakfast, but the little noise made getting a Frying Pan out of the drawer, was enough to have Kathy scrambling to come out to join me. She really enjoyed her Chocolate Chip Banana Pancake for breakfast, while I settled for a simple Banana Pancake.

Instead of coffee we enjoyed Hot Chocolate in an effort to warm ourselves up. It seems that the only temperature our AC recognizes is Off or Freezing, and since it ran overnight, we needed some warmth in our bodies.

There was plenty of reading to get caught up on and some of it shows that times are a changing. For those that post Blogs, we all know what is involved, and the more Blogs you publish the more involved it can be. If you are a Daily Blogger, that commitment sometimes has the problem of finding things of interest to write about for the sake of readers that follow along. The one thing some don’t realize is that the writers are doing this as an Electronic Diary/Ledger/Log for themselves but allowing anybody to read. If Readers find it has useful information or is entertaining to them, it is a bonus to the writer. Adding Pictures means finding time to actually take them, then edit them before fighting with your publishing platform to add them in. With time, just like RVing, Bloggers are deciding to push away from the Keyboard. Time includes other commitments or problems with one’s Health, which seems to be the biggest reason for those changes. All we can do as readers, is to Thank them for all the years they have kept us in their lives and Wish them well, and hope that they will occasionally tell us what they are doing. Leaving Comments on any Blog, shows interest in what is being written, and encourages continued use of the writer's imagination.

For today’s lunch we again enjoyed Grilled Bacon/Cheese and Tomato Sandwiches.

Without any Rain today the Humidex was on the cool side, only hitting the Century Mark.

I again splurged, serving Sauteed Salmon Fillets, Potato Slices and Asparagus Spears for supper. We later enjoyed Cantaloupe with a scoop of Vanilla Frozen Yogurt for a dessert.

Later we watched “The Sandlot”, which is about Kids entertaining themselves playing Baseball on an empty lot. I recall doing something similar, when a neighbour allowed us to use a part of his garden for a ball diamond. How we never took out any of the neighbours Windows, showed we learned how to hit the ball between the houses themselves. That is something kids today will never experience, because most are busy playing with electronics.
